Do you think we heavily recruited Rico? I don't, because of who was attached to him.
Was that the dude that would come here after we got a 3* with no SEC offers and say how good of a pick up it was?
How bout that Preston Williams kid, eh? He sure will make a good player for the red and bl...
Oh, what?! He signed with UT?! Well, booger...
Oh well, at least you guys got that RB. What's his name again? Alan... Alvin... Kamara! That's it! Wait, he signed with Tennessee too? Hmmmm.
So, the only player you actually won a battle with Tennessee for was someone who we backed off of at the last minute because we got a better player? Man... That must suck.

Dont forget Boulware and Abernathy. Austin Smith maybe, I don't remember if they recruited him.
Good tackles don't grow on trees. I might have gone for both Richmond and Allen, who looks like he'll be a good player.
I have said it before and will say it again. UT was only a back up plan for Allen due to the coaching change at UGA. There was a period of time leading up to that when Allen would not even return calls to our staff due to the fact that they were slow playing him when he was interested in committing to UT last summer and fall. He did contact UT when he found out that Friend was leaving UGA so he could have options in case he did not feel good about the OL coach. We did not turn this kid away but slowed on him at the end when he kept talking with UGA and we started getting the love from Richmond.
