I really want this kid to be a part of next year's class

I agree. He would be one of the better RB gets on our board for 2015. I honestly think he ends up a spartan in the end. Shame as I would have liked to get about 3 kids off that Cass Tech HS squad in orange for 2015.

Scheduled to UOV to UT this weekend. He has previously stated that UT was his leader, but he has also been quoted as saying that UT is a co-leader with Mich. St.

Will be tough to get him out of Michigan but would love to land him. Maybe Butch and his staff's ties to Michigan can pay off in the end.

Steve Stripling will head up north to Michigan to see several 2015 Vol prospects that have already visited Knoxville. Stripling will be at Cass Tech in Detroit to see defensive lineman Joshua Alabi. and running back Mike Weber and Tennessee is in great shape with both of those prospects.

He has seen Michigan St unofficially 7 times since the football season has began. I think he may be close to commiting.

The staff writers for MSU's 247 site seem to think he is all MSU at the moment. It appears UT is falling behind on this one, unfortunately.

Rated a four-star prospect and the No. 14 running back in the latest Scout.com player rankings, Weber listed his top-five schools in no particular order as Michigan,*Michigan State,*Ohio State,*Wisconsin*and*Tennessee.

Teammate, QB Jayru Campbell, is committed to Michigan State for 2015. He was recently arrested for bodyslamming a school security guard. The incident was filmed by students and is on YouTube. Many will be surprised if MSU honors that commitment. Campbell also allegedly punched a player following a loss in the state playoffs and had to be tackled and restrained by coaches.

If MSU backs off, it could push Weber and Alabi away too.

Watching the video of a few of Jayru's incidents, that kid has some issues. I would be shocked if mich st even answered the phone if he called.

If MSU honors that commit... NCAA should just hand deliver his LOI and start investigating.. that incident leads to straight up jail time for a regular person... I've seen the video a few times and it's literally stomach turning to watch.

I just watched that video, it's ridiculous. If he doesnt get sentenced to a juvenile facility until he is 18, would be bullshiz. You cant do that to an authority figure at a freaking high school. He starts yelling "what now B*tch" or something like that. I hate to use the word, but that is straight thug, and all his little gangster friends are shouting and screaming. Yelling "Top notch Ni***, top notch" It's sad. And the news report, a woman said it was over dress code, he was asked to take off his hoodie. WOW.
Somebody on the youtube comments said the guard was fired from another school for getting into with students. Which it wouldnt surprise me, the way the kids were acting afterwords. Im sure he has put up with all kinds of stuff. It's terrible, if it was over a hoodie that makes it even worse, like roid rage or something.

You hear a nasty thud when he hits the ground. I honestly couldnt believe he got up. It looks like he hit his head or landed on his neck sideways. All the kids afterwords make me sick, hooting and hollering it up. It's sad how things have become.

I agree. It's sad to see his behavior glorified by other students, which in a sense, surely makes Jayru feel vindicated in his actions. He needs to be locked up where he hopefully learns to respect authority.

I will lose a lot of respect for Dantonio (whom Iike quite a bit) if he continues to recruit this kid.

As bad as that is I saw similar in HS, not to a security guards because ours were real cops with actual guns. That's today's world. I agree about his scholly though. He should end up somewhere out of BCS conferences.

Also I'm glad were not saying this about Mike or Josh. Hopefully they don't associate too much with that idiot.

I was also waiting for the worldstar chants and they never happened..
