I hope Tuttle and KMAC can have an impact like Barnett has had this year, but as long as they get some experience under their belt in 2016 ohhh boy our D Line will be talked about all over college football. It will be impossible to stop our BEASTS we will have on the front line! If you are a LB or DB recruit and cant see that your stats will be through the roof playing behind these guys. Wow the future is bright, and ladies and gents......WE ARE BACK!!!!!!!!

If those guys have that type of impact...the sec better look out the next 4 years

If he is indeed an EE, I think that will be huge in terms of his chances of breaking into the 2-Deep rotation at DT. Normally you wouldn't want to start 2 freshmen at DT, but this ain't a normal crop of DT's. Can't wait to see how he does in spring practice.

Tuttle is 100 percent an EE. Not a question

Someone wiser than me please explain why Tuttle shows up as a 4-star in 247's composite team rankings when he's a 5-star (98 overall in 247's own rankings) and also a .9800 overall in the composites?

I think someone is just to lazy to update his composite star ranking. Every one knows he's a 5 star DT and other teams will know it as well. We will finally have a stout DL again for the next few years.

What kind of senior year did Shy have? I haven't seen game summaries or highlight footage anywhere except for one poorly-edited game on Hudl. Not sure if VQ or some other site has had some notes that we haven't seen here.

Can't wait to see Stripling work with this kid.

Haven't seen his senior stats updated but his freshman and sophomore stats are insane. Over 40 tfl's and nearly 30 sacks. He didn't play much his junior year for injury.

In his highlight video he just tosses whoever is front of him to the side. It looked like he could have killed someone in that jamboree video posted earlier this year.

Jones was joined by Elder when they saw Tuttle and everything is set for the four-star defensive tackle to be on campus this weekend for an official visit and then enroll at the beginning of January after taking part int he Under Armour All-American Game.

On Wednesday, Elder and Jones were in the Charlotte area as they spent time with defensive tackle commitment Shy Tuttle. It's worth noting again the job Elder did to make Tennessee a real factor and to pull it off with the North Carolina target. At one point, almost everyone believe Tuttle was a lock to Clemson or North Carolina but Elder did a great job of grinding away with Tuttle and his family.

I think Elder is the most underrated position coach on our staff. He deserves a nice raise for his recruiting success, and also what he has done with special teams and TEs.
