One of them should. DT really held back the defense at times this year. It is a position that must improve in 2014.

While DT wasn't as outstanding as DE's in 2014, it was far from our worst position group. Williams, Williams, and OBrien certainly outperformed my expectations leading into the season. I don't have any problem with OBrien and O. Williams being part of a 4-6 man (Tuttle and KM obviously being in there also) DT group rotation to keep them all fresh.

Don't forget about Saulsberry (if he stays healthy) and Michael Sawyers (if he get's his head together).

I was about to say the same thing. O'Brien quietly had a really good year, especially considering he played way too many snaps and did it while battling injuries. DT was a good position for us this year.

Saulsberry will most likely go on medical scholarship after the bowl game. His knees are shot, and he is probably gritting it out just to play in the bowl game.

Tuttle was very disruptive and made his fair share of plays in the backfield. His size, strength and quickness are too much for any offensive lineman to consistently handle. In the morning and afternoon sessions, Tuttle could frequently be seen busting through double teams and making his presence felt in the backfield.

I thought obrien played better than any of our other DT. Especially since he played so many more snaps than a DT should.

It will be great to have an actual rotation at DT. Just think about how they can play when they can rotate them a bit....

Perhaps I'm the only one but Jordan Williams was out there for just about every snap and I never noticed him being too much of a liability. I especially remember him chasing that guy down on the sideline for a TFL against Florida and thinking, "man, he was really moving there".

Never forget the game of football is all about LOS play. Every good team needs 5 good DTs, and Butch is bringing in the best schoolboy talent. It will be interesting to see this group mature. King Tut, KMac, and Picou (do not sleep on Picou) have great potential. AND I am just as excited about our potential at DE. Butch is setting the stage for a much improved D. Now, if he can just get the OL heading in the same direction.
