Dominating defense is what he's building. The D-line will be dominant. Adding those guys to guys like Barnett and Maggitt up front will be crazy early on. Guys like Sutton and TKjr leading the charge in the secondary will make things very uncomfortable. JRM at LB will provide leadership and playmaking ability to a young but talented LB group.

He's abused the linemen he's gone against. No stats that I'm aware of. Extremely quick for 300+ pounds. Playing defensive end that should tell you something,

Serious question for anyone that might have a little inside team knowledge. With the loss of Hendrix and Henderson, and the addition of 3 true DT's in this class, does Mixon get moved back to his more natural position of SDE this year? I'm just thinking that this gives us another option at DE that many us recruiting junkies haven't thought about.

No inside knowledge. But Kahlil and Shy are very large DTs. I could see them keep smaller DTs in there like Obrien and Mixon for a quicker pass rushing package.

Very large yes, but still quick and excellent pass rushers. Oklahoma put their 300 lb monster/freak athlete on the edge often on passing downs. I could see butch doing that with shy also. Talk about a nightmare for a claustrophobic qb. That pocket would close quickly

McKenzie is explosive and quick with the ability to drive an OL back. Think he could be a menace in passing situations.
