'15 NC RB Bryce Love

Freak will quickly establish the "LV's random thoughts thread".

:birgits_giggle:

Or we can make "The Leb Game" where we find predictions and theoreticals that you've made in the past that have turned out wrong, give them a point for each one found and add them up. We can take the numbers thing to the next level and take the total amount of Lebs found and tack it to your signature. Then, anytime someone gets caught or proven wrong and references getting "Leb'd" a point gets added to your total.

Twist: You get +5 if someone finds a correct theoretical or prediction that you've made alternatively -10 if someone sees you OCI'ing your post.

Im only kidding but sounds like fun, right? :p

I'll take 'We can only sign 12 for a $100' Alex.... Ha! JK LV...

Last year I really don't remember him saying anything about the numbers, although he really did go a little off the deep end with Dline recruiting last year. If he is legit about the CB and TE topics for next year I may have to get behind him there.

Oh yes, he did talk about numbers last year. He's already worrying about the numbers for the 2016 class.

They were gonna cut him... I doubt they will

LOL. They are not going to regret getting rid of one of, if not the best playmaker in the NFL? Sorry. Wrong. Anytime a team gets rid of one of their best players, they end up regretting it. Is Carroll going to publicly admit that? No because he can't. But they are most certainly going to miss him.

If we can't obtain anymore OL, I fully expect us to take 3-4 playmakers. Those playmakers include: Love, Newsome, Frazier, Perry, Reid, Dauphine, Vaughn, etc. Karama , IMO, is the only lock that we have at RB right now. I like Oliver as a TE as well and hope we keep him because we need TE depth.

Another interesting development will be what happens to Walker and Phillips on the defensive side. If we let Jackson go, and strike out on both Walker and Phillips, then I will be a little disappointed. Also is McLean a real possibility here? I would tread lightly when attempting to sign anymore DT prospects. We have three very good prospects already, one of which is a package deal to get Austin Smith who is a boss OLB. Also, we need to keep showing the love to Ford. I like Ford's game a lot. I'm just afraid as the time draws nearer to NSD that some of these guys may feel pressured to take visits and sign else where at the last moment. If that happens we need to make sure it's because we are bringing in more elite talent and not because we aren't showing them the interest they want to see. CBJ seams to be a great relationship guy so this should be fun to watch as NSD approaches.

He said he really likes the coaches at Tennessee. Josh asked if any campus stood out to him while on these unofficial visits and he said Knoxville stood out. He kept mentioning the Tennessee River as something that makes the environment unique.

Concerning the young running backs on campus he said he trusts the coaches. He said he feels like he can fit in the offense in Knoxville and that "in this generation I feel like it's important to have a stable of backs.

Sounds like he took a page from the Butch Jones presser notebook with the "stable of backs" comment.

"Talked to Bryce earlier tonight and won't have story out tonight but wanted to put out the main talking points:

Like the visit, said it was good to get on campus and see a game for the first time.

He definitely noticed the only two running backs that played were a freshman and a senior and that there is opportunity in Knoxville.

Finally, he only has two official visit scheduled right now and those are to Tennessee and Stanford. Both will come after his season but before Christmas. At least that is his hope. A decision would follow those visits. "
