'15 NC RB Johnny Frasier

Despite the number of commits today, I suspect there will be a bit of drama between now and NSD as the staff further evaluates position depth and recruits.

IMO, UT will add 4+ by next Feb. That will require some commits to depart in order to make room for the additions.

If Frasier chooses UT, I could see one of the two RBs now committed getting the message to look around.
Bruce is more of an Athlete than a RB. Kind of like the Berry twins. The staff might see him as a DB...especially after seeing that slobber-knocking hit. He diagnosed that WR screen perfectly.

So, Reid and Kamara are the only RB's in this class, and Bruce is more of a "we'll see where he fits when he gets here" player. It might seem a bit crowded at the position, but when you factor in all the little dings and injuries that typically happen in a year, that 5-6 looks more like 3 on any given Saturday

Reid ist going anywhere Coach G loves him and for good reason. Love is t like Scott. He has track speed and is much more like Keith Marshall and can play slot as well. We are trying to def get one of the two. And this isnt NC homering for the obvious trolls. the NC rb class is the best ever. Next year will not be as good though Emmons may be better than any of the Big 5 in NC this year and thats saying something.

I know there is still gonna be some shuffling in this class, so I don't know exactly what the positional numbers are. But as it relates to this thread. I would like to take one more RB. After watching films of both Love and Frasier, I would take Fraiser. I like his burst, balance, and feet are always moving.

A RB class of Reid Kamara and Fraiser could argue is even better than last years.

Johnny carried the ball eight times for 184 yards tonight in a 48-14 Princeton victory over Union High School (Clinton), including a season-high 85-yard touchdown run. He also caught three passes for 40 yards. Again, he didn't play much after halftime. Princeton led 34-0 at the break and cleared its bench in the second half. Union is usually a decent team, but they're young this year and were no match for the Bulldogs. Last year, it took every inch Johnny gained for Princeton to beat them 42-41.

Next week is the biggest football game to be played at Princeton High School in more than 30 years: the No. 2-ranked 1-A team in the state (Princeton) hosts No. 3 and defending state champion James Kenan. (The No. 1 team is JK's county rival Wallace-Rose Hill, who beat an injury-depleted JK a few weeks ago.) The JK game will be the first time in a month that Johnny will probably play the entire game--and might be his last time until the playoffs.

As far as the details of his recruiting that sites are claiming/making up, I can only say that Tennessee has long been one of the five schools that Johnny had strong interest in prior to his verbal, along with Georgia, FSU, Michigan and Michigan State. He said this publicly during the off-season, and those five and about 20 other schools were actively recruiting him. (And most still are, from what his coach tells me.)

I think that is where my opinion at times throws people off a bit. When I say things like we are done at RB or WR or whatever, it's not always that UT would not actually take the kid, but that the kid is not actually going to pick UT. All JMO of course.

"You're leaving out Josh Sweat in your prediction, how could you even do that"?

Because he was never coming. Hello!

If he is at all interested which it seems he is. I definitely thing we should make a push for him. If the #1 RB in the nation is reaching out to you, you don't turn away. I really like Fraiser I hope we get him. Really reminds me of Gurley.

What has happen in his recruitment. For us to think UT is involved? Sorry if it's been already posted. I scrolled back a few pages and couldn't find anything. Thanks in advance..

Hearing thig may be getting involved on this one

He's the best back in this class IMO.

Sell him on playing close to home, He'll see Neyland rocking against Florida in a sold out house.

Coach Thig will get him.

Jce all over this one. hes the man. Jce I was tailgating at the ECU game yesterday and a Rams Club guy told us hed just sold Johnnys mom a car and had been begging him to go to UNC. all i could do was laugh. Id play for Ruffin McNeill anyday before that prick The town and community of Princeton will be shut down on Friday night. Any of you guys wanting to see big time, small school football in throwback style at its purest form I highly encourage you to go. both these schools are for real. And its only 30 minutes east of Raleigh and right on the highway. may go myself.
