'15 NC RB Johnny Frasier

If any of you get a chance watch his highlights against james kenan the 2nd time. Kena.n went 16-0 and was loaded. He was a man among boys that night which is really saying something.

I was on the sidelines for that game. He was a man among men. James Kenan was extremely talented for a 1-A team; they had a RB of their own who is headed to NC State and a bunch of kids who are FCS or D-II types. Princeton might have had better athletes at three or four positions--maybe. Johnny nearly made the difference all by himself. I walked off that field thinking that Princeton and JK had just played for the state championship in the second round.

One of his best highlights actually came in 2012 in a playoff game against North Edgecombe; it's online somewhere too. He literally hurdled three players lying on the ground in front of him, landed in full stride and went to the end zone untouched.

He was visiting FSU today, and he's also visiting UGA this weekend. And Florida made him an offer today.

My buddy lied to me said he was three star. I never gave a crap enough to look.he is a beast

Johnny Frasier is a five-star talent. He's only being downgraded because he plays for a 1-A school. I've been covering high school football in eastern North Carolina for 21 years, at all four levels. He's as good as anyone I've ever seen. Someone asked me after the season if there were any better RB's in the state. I told them yes. They play for the Carolina Panthers.

Looking at his offer list tells you a lot more about how good he is than some so-called scouting service.

I agree on the offer list. Side note, but perhaps it's time us fans got down to it and started a ranking based on confirmed offer lists. It would take some work, but I think it's feasible to break down a top 20 in terms of top prestige programs, then rank the offers and assign points based on those offers / region / state and so on. Could be interesting I think.

Well im disappointed. No need to keep up with him now lol.
What's more important in my book is when he aims to make his decision. If he is going to wait until after his senior year then it could be little more than water under the bridge. Coaches have a history of putting their foot in the door at just the right time. Butch Jones is certainly one of those coaches.

From looking at CBJ's recruiting for 2014, I am not sure that comparing offers from other schools is as accreted as we would like. He seems to recognize talent before other schools do. It may work better during and after the 2014 football season.

I agree on CBJ and staff recognizing talent. However, what I was hinting at was more a broad scale ranking as opposed to just for prospects with Vol offers.

He must not be recruiting RBs. For FSU. He couldn't get a damn RB to UT to save his life.

You have to wonder if it was him or the Dooley effect. With everything we have learned after his departure, I would have to go with the latter.

FSU leads for JF and Patrick. Also top 3 for Taj.. Jay really doesnt have to sell much with a NC, 1000yds back and two with 700+ yds. Like JF tape but IIRC he plays 1a ball so the comp is suspect.
