'15 NC RB Johnny Frasier

FSU leads for JF and Patrick. Also top 3 for Taj.. Jay really doesnt have to sell much with a NC, 1000yds back and two with 700+ yds. Like JF tape but IIRC he plays 1a ball so the comp is suspect.

We're NEVER going to land Darrell Scott...USCjr has too big a lead...if that were to slip,we'd still be trailing FL....better offer Caleb Kinlaw :ermm:

You have to wonder if it was him or the Dooley effect. With everything we have learned after his departure, I would have to go with the latter.

Fair point. Dools didn't sign a single OL his last year. Perhaps he didn't think we needed a RB either. Not sure he or Jay even knew who Jalen Hurd was

Think it's worth noting that Hurd committed like three days after Graham left and said he had decided to commit while Jay was here.

Jay did a good job between Dooley leaving and taking the job at FSU. I think a lot of the criticism he gets on here is unfounded and unfair.

I'm already partial to Coach Gillespie, truth be told. I know he suited up for the bad guys back in the day, but he's already proven himself to be a good coach and a solid recruiter here on Rocky Top. I think he was a great hire by Jones and I hope he sticks around for a long while. Can't wait to see what he does with the Hurd-Scott-Paulk three-headed monster.

Extremely suspect. I coached in that conference before. Nothing to brag about.

Everyone who has offered Johnny is still in the running. He's not eliminated anyone from consideration. He's waiting to see what offers he will get before he eliminates anyone.

He does play at the 1-A (actually 1-AA) level, but he can play with anyone. You could put him on any of the 4-AA Charlotte teams, and he would immediately be their best player. I've been covering football for 21 years, and I maintain what I said earlier in this thread--he is the best running back in North Carolina who doesn't play on Sundays. Surprised that 247 moved him all the way to No. 1 in the entire country, but maybe he is. He's definitely a five-star player.

He's also a level-headed kid with a good work ethic and a team player. Whoever signs Johnny Frasier is going to be very fortunate to have him.

I really wish he would visit TN. Hell he should out of respect for me. I was touting him as the best back in NC and took quite a bit of ridiculing. Those people arent laughing now. Visit TN johnny you owe ths NC Vol lol.

I hope he does. He'd step right in and play for UT, and I think he'd transition easily to Butch's offense. Of course, any coach who can't make effective use of Johnny Frasier needs to find another line of work. I'd say I'd sign Rocky Top to Johnny next time I see him, but I sing so bad that might hurt our chances.

Saw him run a 10.8 100. Not blazing, but still pretty impressive for his size.

I saw Nyhiem Hines run a 10.8 also, and Frasier probably has 20-30 pounds of him. But Hines has insanely quick feet.

That's nice but what's his 400 time?

Don't want, unless he runs cross country.

I want our rb's to run for a couple miles each game.

Told Chad Simmons of scout that UGA and FSU, as of now, are standing out but has no intentions of cutting his list anytime soon. Said he "really" wants to get out to Tennessee, and "likes what they're offering" to him. Wants to be in an engineering program and likes we have a good program for that. Will visit this summer

Per Rivals, he plans to visit UT in the Summer.

Still seems like UGA and FSU are his top 2. UT still in it though.

I met the kid about 2 weeks ago. I'd seen him at track meets before, but had never spoke to him.

He seems like a really nice young man. I'd like to see him in orange. Although I still question the weak competition he plays against. But the kid looks the part.

HUGE difference I see now that Butch is at the helm:

Amazing how many guys are are just somewhat in on. Top 5s, top 10s, on twitter, whatever else. Just crazy the difference in perception of UT. If this kind of dramatic change is coupled with wins in the fall, it'll be a perfect storm.

A 6+ win season this fall and a bowl coupled with an 8+ win season in 2015 will end up signing a monster 2016 class...top 3 and maybe even #1. Yep, I said it...I think Butch is that good of a recruiter.
