'15 NC RB Johnny Frasier

Sorry man, tried holding my tongue for the past week while reading your posts. I'm just not buying what your selling. Many from the mid state area know this as well. Please stop.

Care to elaborate? The guy paints himself as someone who is "in the know," but I've never heard of him.

In the SEC i can recall when walking on campus with a 5* db where 2 winning SEC West schools blatantly said cut the chatter how much or what's it going to take to get you here.

Man, with all things considered you must be living the life! 3,500 sq ft house, all sorts of bling, rolling up on campuses with 5* recruits and talking bag-money with SECw coaches?

Sounds like more people need to go to barber school amirite?

Guys there is no coach in America that wouldn't want to upgrade in talent. In recruiting its a dog eat dog world. This statement pertains to both recruits and coaches. In the SEC i can recall when walking on campus with a 5* db where 2 winning SEC West schools blatantly said cut the chatter how much or what's it going to take to get you here. At the time both schools were loaded at db. Both coaches stated don't worry about numbers we'll make room for you. What yawl have to realize it's about winning and keeping the check coming in and anothing personal at all.

At first I thought you were Rucker; however, his work is so crappy he wouldn't be bragging about earnings...

I'm thinking now that you are D'vinner.

WTF is yalls problem with me. i will take my opinions elsewhere and you can take full handle ob nc info then.

Eh, don't take it personal. There are a few douche bags on every board generally they are pretty vocal and ignorant. Some of the other is just messing around. I wouldn't worry about any of it though.

247 says they think Frasier will decommit from Fla St soon and reopen his recruitment. They think that Tennessee, NC State and Duke have a shot. They think NC State might have the best chance due to it being an hours drive from his hometown.

IMO, I still think we have a great shot with him. We are just 6 hours away, and Tennessee will have the best team out of three in the coming years. It would be so awesome to have a 3-headed running attack with Hurd, Kamara and Frazier!

Rumors from TOS suggest he wants to stay close to home because he has a kid on the way...from a much older woman.

Well if that is the case, he needs to go to UT. He will not get run to death as "The Man" like he would at Duke and NC state and he will be seen on TV on Saturday's so he can get a job on Sunday. Then he when get's paid on Sunday he can take care of the baby and momma.

Uh oh. I know this sounds terrible, but if true that has drama written all over it and is all the more reason to get "away" if he wants to concentrate fully on his football career in hopes of one day making it to the league one day to be able to financially take care of the kid. Would likely be far less distractions than staying close to home.

Warren flipped his CB to NCSU.

Is it one of his teachers? If so, there's a thread for that in the pub.

All correct, except that I think he will ultimately lean toward Duke if he decides to stay close to home. There's very little difference in the distance between Princeton and Raleigh and Princeton and Durham, Duke is a better team and will be for the foreseeable future, and the coach at Duke has a much better record of turning out pro players (as we all know). We won't even get into the value of a Duke degree over one from NC State. If he picks the Wolfpack over Duke, there should be an NCAA investigation.

If being on the best team possible without being too far from home is the overriding consideration, then obviously, he will pick the Vols, or he will just stick with FSU.

Anyway, there's a ceremony at Princeton High at 2 this afternoon. Johnny will be presented with his jersey for the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

“my commitment is still pretty strong,” frasier said of florida state. “i’m just making sure that that’s where i want to go. I’m (making) sure i have a spot, but i’m not going cut out everybody else and not give them an opportunity to present their school, so i’m still looking.”
frasier says the seminoles are his top school, but there are four other schools also in the mix.
“i’d say fsu is my number one and tennessee, nc state, south carolina and duke are all kind of tied after that,” frasier said.

This offense is going to be white hot next year with the emergence of Dobbs. And the defense, with K-Mac, Tuttle and Cherry added to the mix. Frazier might as well join in and get some of that action.

Seems like every year, the SEC has one or two teams that surprise everybody with a breakout season. Next year it's our turn.

If he doesn't stick with FSU I think it's between us and Duke. At Duke he could get there and immediately be one of their top guys. They've got a good freshman RB but Frazier would immediately be the #2 back for them imo and I think he would push to be the number one back pretty quickly. Their freshman they have now is pretty good but he is more of a scat back/3rd down back imo. Whereas Frazier is an every down back that can handle a full workload throughout the season. So I can see the appeal for him going to Duke. They have a great coach and he would have the opportunity to immediately he their main back.

I think he would be a great fit at UT as well. Like I said he's an every down back that can handle being a work horse like Hurd is for us now. We definitely need another guy like that bc imo Hurd is the only one we have right now and if he went down we would be in trouble. I'm ready to get to the point that we are like Bama or Georgia and we have multiple guys on the team who can handle that role when their time comes. It's also a good thing for the players because they don't get overworked and still have plenty of miles left on them if they're good enough to play in the NFL.

Well I'm rambling and I'm not really sure what my main point was. I've got more to say but I'll just end it by saying that I really hope we land this young beast. We need another every down back and he's an absolute stud, imo he's the best HS RB in this class. Here's to hoping he's a Vol come NSD.
