Seems pretty obvious that this staff has some others ahead of Reid the way they keep offering other rb's...


"I think that's fair to say. I'll be interested to see his film. I'm going to request it this week. I've heard mixed reviews on Reid this season. I had questions coming into the season on whether or not he's a high-level SEC guy, but I haven't been able to watch him."

I think people are just assuming that him being rated a 3* = recruited over. He seems to have put up some gaudy statistics thus far, so I don't buy the silliness. Paulk was a 3* as well, and I suspect his dismissal is the MAIN reason why we are offering other RB's. We don't have much depth behind Hurd, and thus we need 3 RB's in this class.

I really don't see a big difference in Bussey and Reid other than Bussey is a little bigger and i have heard he plays in the top class of football in Louisiana and I'm a firm believer in hs level of competition. I like Reid but seriously i view him as i do Keyshawn Vaughn. I think they're better suited for Big10 football. I formation downhill football. For example rbs like those 2 are a little less than SEC caliber but i consider extreme talents for BIG10. I also talked to Coach G and Coach Ab and they both state Bussey has that extra gear to make homerun plays

I don't understand all the "downhill" and "power" comments with Reid.

It's a sprint to the edge in pretty much every one of his highlights. Does he run over a single player?

Pretty sure you are seeing the breakaway runs, there are probably hundreds of other runs where he breaks a tackle but only gets 6-7 yards. Looking at his gawdy stats, a film that included those runs might be 27 hours in length.

I was thinking the same thing. Do not get me wrong, I would not want a Rb that just tried to run over everybody, because that will not work in college, but I do want to see him do it a few times if looking for a "power back".
