We'll see how it plays out. Butch, Saban, and Harbaugh wanted Gentry. I'd tend to go with that over Strong. Jmo

Murray is an Aggie legacy...son of one of their most storied QBs Kevin Murray. Rated higher and played WAY better in this ungodly talented state...three time player of the year and state champions in Texas largest classification! He's been commited to A&M for over a year...Harbaugh coached the Niners last year but everyone in college wanted him...they were just being realistic...Strong upgraded. JEO.

Um... All 3 of them were. Jennings committed to us in April, we offered Dormady in May then he committed to us in early June, and Jones was always near the top or at the top of the coaches QB Board despite being committed to Florida.

Isn't Murray like 42-0 with 3 'ships as a starting QB? That's just absurd. Would be a huge loss for Sumlin.

Not for at least 2 years. His starting freshman QB, Kyle Allen, was the top rated hs qb last year and Murray wasn't going to take his place.

Longhorns benefitting from Aggies landing Allen last year...this kid is hungry and wanted a shot at playing some point in his (true) freshman year...gotta sting his old man a little if he ends up in Austin tho.
