However, I think we have that in DQ as well. Consider that DQ's SPARQ shuttle time is actually better than Gibson's. Also said he runs in the 4.6 range. I think he's plenty athletic.

That being said, I think we need a guy who has a strong, accurate arm who shows good, quick decision-making. From what I've read either Gentry or DQ would've met that qualification. Also, Ainge really likes DQ and Bama offered him as well.

Finally, while I don't put 100% stock into ratings and scouting service evaluations, DQ is considered the 5th prostyle QB in the country, well ahead of Gentry. Don't think we could've gone wrong with either, but since we got DQ, I'm ready to roll with him and not look back.

Glad he messed over CCS like that. Personally not a fan of his. I hope Allen stick with TAMU and leaves CCS empty handed. Of course there is still time till signing day and anything and happen between now and then, even to us.

Why don't you like Strong? Butch is great but I think he also would have done well here.

Was on Shaggybevo last week and they were very cognizant of Harbaugh visiting Albuquerque...TBH it's looking like Kyler Murray possibly flipping is going to be an upgrade. Remember being real bummed when Gentry committed to Strong...looks like we came out ok.

I think he is a pretty good coach, but I am not sure he is as good as people think. Teddy Bridgewater made him in a very weak league. But my real issue with him is to much Gator in him for me.

Agree with this along with the fact that UL is like WVU in that they can take a lot of kids that can not get into the SEC or major conferences due to academics. If Strong can do at Tejas what he did at UL then I will believe. But he would have never competed here with what Butch has accomplished. We are very lucky that Strong turned us down.

He's been there for a year and ran like 10-12 guys off. The culture in Austin was the problem much like here and he's having to change that. Takes more than a year to put your stamp on it.

He's pulled Miami kids to Louisville and now Austin, who's to say he couldn't have done that here?

Glad we didn't get this kid, looks like he has committment issues.

I haven't created a spread sheet to track the data but it seems that players who jerk schools around and flip multiple times never pan out.

This is his second school...so he flipped ONCE...hardly an example.
