If we got Kirkland, Walker and Phillips and kept everyone else I can see GA as second behind us. But that's a big if and can only hope we land those 3 but we have a greatt shot at landing the three of them.

Per Austin Price

Spoke to him here in Cookeville for the Eastt/West All Star game and he told me he won't go to LSU this weekend and won't make a decision on Monday. Obviously anything can change but that was his stance an hour ago.

GA has 6 players, 5 in the 90's, and with an average of 92.5.

UT has 8 players, 5 in the 90's (with 2 only 1 point away) and an average of 92.25.

Our average rating (again, with Phillips), is .25 lower, and we have 2 extra recruits.

The average rating of our top 6 is a 93.8. So, our top 6 would have an average rating 1.3 higher than GA's, and our overall 8 would only be .25 lower.

With Phillips, and assuming that 247 is accurate, our class is unquestionably better. It is deeper, with better top-end talent, and with very solid guys at the bottom.

UT's class is also a little bit better when it comes to filling out a depth chart. While Thomson is a stud DT, their only other DT is their lowest rated DL recruit. They have most of their talent (4 players in the 90's) at DE. We have two stud DT's, and then a handful of very talented DE's to sort out.

I wouldn't dream of trading.

If this is true, then they both are Vols. Has Ugo visited LSU at all? If he's not taking an OV there, then I don't see him going there. LSU was the main competition for Phillips. I don't see him going to Ole Miss...the only common denominator between the 2 is the Vols.

He could still visit LSU in January as his EE status is not entirely clear.

"Tennessee has been working for a long, long time," Amadi said. "They have been putting the pressure on me real hard. Especially with the home visits and talking to my parents. They have been on me constantly and they have been really tough on me."

"One thing I like is they want me to come in and play early," Amadi said. "That's one thing I want to do so I can have a huge impact. Coach Jones is a really honest guy. We communicate very well. He has been working to get me in early and get me to make an impact."

"I do feel like I'm a leader," Amadi said. "I do feel like people follow me in some of the things I do because I make smart decisions and think outside the box."

One person Amadi plans on having in his gravitational pull is fellow Nashville native and Hillsboro standout Kyle Phillips. "That's going to happen," Amadi said. "That's 100% for sure. Trust me, we are going to go to the same place." Amadi plans on taking a trip to LSU sometime after the dead-period ends in January and then will enroll at either Ole Miss, Tennessee or LSU for the spring semester.

Well with Phillips apparently set to announce much sooner than Amadi, not sure what he's looking to get out of a late OV. If it's 100%, why not just commit together? I'm leaning toward where Amadi might think it's 100%, it might be news to Kyle.

I've been wondering with both Martin and Amadi having UT and LSU in their final group, if one would have anything to do with the other. One picks UT, does the other head to LSU? If they do, does Miller stick or does CBJ use that spot for another position?

It appears the stars are aligning for all 3, but it is recruiting and you never know. But Amadi and Martin played together, so they certainly could go to the same school. I feel better about Martin than Amadi. I think they are just waiting on his academic status to make that official.

Abernathy, Amadi, and Martin would be a very good CB class if CBJ can finish it off. They add both of those guys, I can't see Miller sticking.

If Amadi is a Vol, we will see Miller taking visits IMO. It's either/or with those 2...not both.
