Posted this before and it is worth posting again.

IMO lsu screwed this kid by forcing his commitment BEFORE he or Phillips knew about Chief. They felt it was their best card to play to get Phillips.

Shame on LSU. People need to lay off the kid as he got royally lied to.

I wish him the best and if he ends up a Vol I suggest we all keep in mind he got played and support him

He still holds the cards Bruin. He has a guaranteed scholarship to LSU or he can still commit to OM or TN. It's been reported that both are still actively recruiting him.

I cut up and go on sometimes, but I don't mean nothing by what I say, I hope the best for all these kids.:rock:It does make me feel a lot better when the recruit puts that BIG ORANGE CAP ON.:)

Yeah no idea what he's referring to. Ugo has his LSU card in hand, but is in no way confined to being a Tiger.

I know he can get out of going to LSU but this is this kids 2nd commitment.

Seems clear to me that the kid decommitted from ole miss as soon as Chavis started to push. He clearly wanted to wait until after an OV but ....

Then suddenly his timeframe changed

Why did it change???

That part seems obvious to me. Lsu deadlined him because they knew chief was gone after the bowl game. They figured with chief leaving their only chance with Phillips was to have This kid committed. That's why they deadlined him IMO. Bad dishonest business if I am right.

Larry, LWSVOL, stated that both OM and UT were telling him Chavis was gone for the last couple of weeks. He had to know it was a good possibility. I think he actually played LSU by getting the papers to sign prior to Phillips commitment to insure him a spot on the LSU team.

Yeah but LSU can process him out next year. What good does it do to go to a school that doesn't want you? Nash Nance didn't make it four years at UT. I'd say it's pretty rare that the weak end of a package deal ever really benefits from the deal themselves... unless he's just a kid who wouldn't be a getting a scholarship otherwise. That clearly wasn't the case with Ugo.

Ugo was helping Kyle play the fans. Buncha dumbass posters got played and are still getting played. Lol!

Ugo and Kyle are still good friends.

This is what i thonk happened...also..D1conley, I know you are close to these kids.,we are not, all we know of them is how they conduct themselves, and what they say. Ugo seemed to want to stick it to UT, and a lot of folks don't like him for that.

I personally don't care.,I would like to have Ugo on the team..I do think he will grow into being a damn good nickleback.
