Got it, thanks! Not that info from an anonymous Internet poster means anything but I posted several days ago that LSU had pulled Ugo Amadi's offer and that he most likely would not be going to LSU. The same coach told me that UT wouldn't take him because Buck had screwed that opportunity up (although truth be told he may end up being very very good he doesn't really fit the profile of what UT is looking for).

Of course De1conley jumped in immediately saying that was stupidity and he may be correct since I know he is reportedly very connected...I was just posting what the staff member told me.

I asked De1 to confirm that the relationship between Buck, CBJ and Thig was good since he seems to have the inside info there. I was hoping that what I heard wasn't true but he never responded. Hopefully everything is good with Buck and our staff.

I also don't doubt that he has "re-opened" his recruitment. I do doubt that it was voluntary though based on what I was told. This was a UT staffer though not an LSU guy so maybe my info was incorrect.

I wish Mr. Amadi the best. I honestly hate to think that he may have had the rug pulled out from under him.

I thought he did respond and said that all was good between Buck and the staff.. I could be wrong though.. The mind gets muddled after reading through enough of these threads..

I appreciate everything you add to this board. I don't have any inside sources like you or de1conley, so I enjoy soaking up what you guys offer. I have heard 2nd or 3rd hand information (apart from this message board)that would indicate that there was a problem between a staff member and Buck's organization, but that problem has since been resolved, or at least simmered down a good deal.

yes he is and it's only to really aTm due to chief being there. At this point he'll go to either LSU or aTm. The word is LSU will hire Shute who is a defensive genius. If this happens Ugo will likely stay with LSU. Shute at Vandy and PSU loved Ugo. See what you guys have to understand is this. Ugo is probably better and more ready to play than anybody in UT cb rotation but Cam. Ugo has an unmatchable work ethic, great foot work, and long arms that give him crazy strength. He the kind of db in the mold of Honey Badger and Terry Fair. Despite his height I promise yawl I think he'll play on Sundays

Hey man I respect you and all the info you bring but I'm not sure about that comment saying he is more ready to play than anybody in our rotation not named cam sutton. Gaulden, both berrys and Emmanuel moseley are all better and more ready than ugo.

LSU didn't pull the offer and he can still go there but as anyone with good sense would he wants to see who they hire. If its Bob Shute Ugo is likely LSU if not then we'll see but he's been talking to aTm also.

Didn't mean to chew your head off man it's been a steressful few weeks with these kids and the holidays. Lots of dumb internet rumors going around, LOL. Comes with the business. Also Buck didn't ruin anything Ugo and his love for this girl has things the way they are. He wants her at his school of choice and its kinda dumbfounding to many of us.

There's some shady practices going on behind our backs by a few ppl that's not appreciated at all. It has since been addressed and things are fine for now. We have no ties to anybody and wherever a kid wants to play we help them but coaches who deliberately lie and do shady stuff don't sit well with us nor do they represent University of Tennessee in the right way.

He's already said the relationship was fine. LWS said it's laughable that they have any serious problems with each other as well. Those guys wouldn't be breaking bread together if there was a serious problem between them.

I imagine Buck is tired of defending himself against these BS rumors but that's just my guess.

Willie M was the one I'm assuming the issue was with? At least that's whose name I've seen floated around. Hopefully things are repaired immediately with you guys because the mid-state is unbelievably critical for UT going forward.

i agree with everything you said but VN logic dictates that since Martin is commited and Ugo isnt that Martin is better.

I watched a few Nas HS games this year and Ugo was the most exciting player I saw. More so than Joejuan Williams and Mcgraw

Bob Shoop with LSU talent would be scary. He is the main reason behind Franklins on field success at Vandy and Penn State. Franklin is the face off the field and overall but Shoop is the nuts and bolts. Top defenses with lower rated kids. I'd be suprised if he left Franklin without it being a HC job but maybe he thinks LSU is his meal ticket to that

Shoop staying at PSU. LSU has been turned down by Shoopn and Pendergrast. It's hard to hire a DC and tell him he cant bring his own staff.

The AD there wants Miles gone apparently OR he's too damn stupid to tie his shoes and breath at the same time. Chavis never would have even gotten to negotiating with A&M if LSU hadn't dropped the ball on the contract and it wasn't the money.

Overton plays the hillwoods of the world and other than Hillsboro their rival, I would consider them to have a soft schedule.
