Vanderbilt is ahead by default right now but my guess from our conversations is that Tennessee would jump to the top if they offer. IMO it's not good for UT fans that Ohio State is showing interest...

Watched this kid last night. He is very athletic good hips, back peddles very well and not afraid to come up and tackle. Does so under control too, superb speed worthy of an offer.

Any guess on his rating when Rivals finishes their 2015 release? 5.7?

Seen him in the championship game this year. Looked good on a end around TD run but had problems with Hawkins from Fulton. Good size and I'm sure he has a lot of upside.

There has been a ton of DB talent in Tennessee the last few years.

Would be great for our 2015 class to land this kid and Amadi on the heels of Gaulden and Kelly this season.

Ordway will likely play safety at the next level but did a good job in coverage while working as a corner during one-on-ones. He has fluid hips, which serves him well coming in and out of his back pedal. His footwork is a big reason why he's able to keep up with quicker wide receivers, as he doesn't waste steps or get knocked off balance. Mississippi State recently offered, joining a list that also includes Vanderbilt.

Amazing the difference between Rivals and 247 on what they say about these prospects at the same combine. I agree with Woody on this one. He is likely a safety in college, not a corner.

Could be as simple as the staff feels very confident with the 2-3 guys they offered early and feel they will get those guys. They may think an offer to Ordway may just trigger a quick commitment and they would not take it now.
