Oh yeah, 92,000+ is tiny.

Does it hold that much? It looks smaller than that but I couldn't drive in front because they had signs warning of a $40 fine if you drive in front or closer to stadium so I went around back beside look like dorms or something next to the stadium.

The heat made it miserable though. I was in the top row and still couldn't find a breeze. That's by far the hottest football game I've ever attended and I grew up 4 hours south of Gainesville in the damn Everglades.

Lol, you should have been in a wool band uniform. I think we played Rocky Top 85 times, literally.

There's a Stuckey's on the corner...if you're hankering for a pecan log.

LSU is deff on my bucket list. Death Valley looks absolutely insane! The best road game I've ever gone to was the Swamp in 2003, which was my first road game. I think the combination of the atmosphere, the game itself, and the novelty of the first road game made it the best for me.

Best road game I have been to was LSU. Neyland and Death Valley are the two best stadiums and game atmospheres in the entire country.

Never have had a bad time in Athens. Been there for several football and basketball games-- have many friends who went/go there. Sanford is actually a cool setup, but the gym is tiny, still a cool place to watch some hoops.

That said, the bars are why I've never had a bad time down there...

I have only been to one game outside neyland and that was in ATL against NC State. But this year since it's the last semester of my academic career a bunch of us are going to Athens and Ole Miss. Can't wait because I think we have a legitimate shot in both of those games.

I'll back you up that it does look fairly small from a distance. It looks a lot bigger from the inside. I will have to admit that it is a pretty nice venue.

I've been twice in '94 and '06. Both UT victories.

Taking Tennessee out of the equation, LSU is the best road experience and venue I've been to in the SEC. I also really liked College Station. Went to an A&M / Texas game years ago. As much as I hate to say it Tuscaloosa would be #3 for me.

I've been to a couple of UT/UGA games in Athens, it was decent, wouldn't be at the top of my list though for overall environment and gameday experience.

I thought Ole Miss was highly overrated. I'll never understand the hype surrounding the Grove or that place in general.

Worst overall in the SEC are easily Kentucky and Vandy.

So far I have been to all the SEC stadiums except Carolina, LSU, and the 2 new ones.

For me the worst experience with bad fans was Arkansas. I liked their stadium though.

I agree with MH. Ole miss Is overrated.

Miss state is in very sore need of an upgraded stadium.

The Swamp was so so so hot. A little miserable actually. Kinda Feel bad for the players.

Good friend of mine (Georgia fan) got tickets to the UGA-GT game in 2012 for his birthday and he gave me the other ticket for free. For such a big rivalry you'd expect an awesome gameday atmosphere. It was very dull and the entire experience was lackluster. Athens on a Fall Saturday cannot hold a candle to Knoxville.

I have never been to Arkansas or Miss State, I imagine both would be towards the bottom of the list with UK and Vandy.

I kind of liked Colombia. It would probably be just below my Top 3 of LSU, A&M and Bama.

I didn't like the Swamp either. I'm not exactly sure what it was about the place, but it was different and the stadium to me is very weird.

I've been to the swamp the last two times. Fans are pretty decent, never had any issues except for some colorful conversations. Even sat where the students are an haven't had any problems. I intend to always go to the fl game in FL, I just wonder if the mood will change when we win next year.

I guess it's different strokes for different folks.

I absolutely loved Ole Miss. The whole campus and town has a different feel to it, almost like going back in time a little bit. When their band played Dixie, I thought that was an awesome experience.

I didn't care for Bama all that much. It was okay, but it had the feel of an NFL game more than a college game. It didn't have much that made it unique IMO.

Of the SEC venues I've been to see a game I would go:

Tennessee (obviously)
Ole Miss
Georgia
Florida
Alabama
Mississippi St.
Vandy

As the poster above said, everyone just has different opinions. I have been to OM a couple of times and have always felt that the Grove was unique and enjoyable. The football stadium and atmosphere is not all that special, but IMO the Grove is.

Most of my trips were when I was in school during our haydays of 1998-2002. As I said before, Alabama is actually a good trip. I also enjoyed Georgia and Auburn.

My trip to Arkansas was when we got whipped in 2011. My brother and I literally straddled the 50 yard line on about the 5th row. I felt like I could stick my foot out and trip Joe Adams on his punt return. Their stadium is nice but tailgating isn't anything special.

Vandy and UK are probably the worst. When I went, Carolina wasn't anything special. It was a beautiful fall afternoon when Tee set the record for passing percentage. I think I have been to Mississippi State twice. One time, I think we ran the same running play about 10 straight times because James Banks was at QB. Decent tailgating, but one time I walked right up and bought a ticket on gameday.

You picked the wrong game. That's not a big rivalry at all.

Yes it is. I live right here in prime UGA territory. Everyone here despises GT and love that game. They take that rivalry just as serious as any other rivalry.

No, it's not.
Florida and the chickens are at the top followed by Auburn. GT would be #4 at best.

Don't get me wrong, it's important to beat the nerds but it's only a big rivalry when you lose to them and Richt has only lost once to them.

GT would be a lot better rivalry game if they had a real coach running something other than a high school offense that no one wants to play in. With the right man in charge and that loaded Atlanta recruiting base, they could be a monster in the ACC. Like everything Vanderbilt wishes they could be, basically.

I will give it a stab. Ranked in order IMO
1. LSU- Don't think there is a better place in the country. (not named Tennessee)
2. UGA- Stadium is nice plus I like the walk up (overpass)
3. AU/UF- AU because of the passion they show the west version of TN. UF cant beat the ladies and the noise in the stadium is unbelievable.

Starkville does not have a lot to offer. That may be an understatement. Fayetteville is slightly better. So, based on your thoughts, I would recommend putting both of them right above Kentucky and Vanderbilt, if you take my word for it haha.

Gainesville is nothing to write home about. I like Athens and Baton Rouge. I think they are great college towns, and I like Oxford. Going to a game in Oxford is fun, but if you live there, or go to school there, it's a different story. Oxford is a small town, and there is a very limited amount of things to do. All you have is the square, in terms of bars, restaurants, etc. Gets old. All JMO.
