If it's DE then it's ok bc he fits better as 3-4 DE which they run. He made the best decision as far as schools he had options with.

Could be a sweet LT in two years for UT, maybe just a redshirt year since he is a smart dude and pick up on things.

He could end up being a good DE, but he could have been like an Aaron Douglas, kid had tons of potential and athletic. Just was a little off emotionally.

That's where I figured he'd go. It had been his 2nd favorite after UT. I felt all along that if he wanted to stay at DE that Stanford would be his best bet. He wanted to visit there even after he committed to UT.
Hope for the best for him, he's a good kid.

Honestly it wasn't thatvhe was opposed to playing OL it was someone on the staff wouldn't admit that he'd be shifted to OL So trust became an issue. IMHO not a big loss either way.

D1C YES IT IS. According to LV those instate lineman play harder when the game is on the line late in the 4th quarter than out of state lineman do.
