I have driven it many times. From Memphis and went to school at UT. I only broke 5 hours one time exit to exit when I had a big enough tank to go the whole way and averaged over 70. With at least one stop, it is easily 5 and half hours.

I was just teasing him from a previous posts. 5:45 is certainly a reasonable time from a Memphis to Knox, especially if you get hung up in Nashville.
