I think most people gave up on the idea of Richmond being a Vol awhile ago. If he ends up here it will be the sweetest of all icings on the cake.
Our recruiting class is full of studs one way or another.
He's either a VFL or not. He's either ready to win big or not.
He would be an outstanding addition this late in the process though.
This was posted on an Ole Miss message board. I had to lol.
Been reflecting on the Drew Richmond recruitment and pondering some things that may need to be considered. Ole Miss is an elite program still needing depth. With our first team talent we were a legitimate national championship contender. Even with our injury attrition, we still won nine games and had victories over top twenty teams. Next year we will add more depth and be in much better shape and finish stronger. UT is far away from his home and the program is always looking at next year. They haven't arrived and they way they're over-signing and having people leave, they may never arrive. A team needs continuity and caring coaches. Tennessee may alway be waiting on next year. Ole Miss is continuing to build something special. Should Drew Richmond decide to sign with us, he'll be part of it. If not, he'll miss out. We will continue to be an elite program and do hope he's with us.
Has anyone heard what is going on with the OLE Miss message boards? Wondering what their people are saying?
And I swear to god I don't melt/have never melted but if we lose Drew.... I'm going full on Ice Cream cone on the surface of Mercury... Godddddammit I hate Tennessee
Yeah that would actually piss me off. I don't get upset over recruiting but if we lost Richmond, I'd want heads to roll.
Losing Leo is one thing... Great talent with too many negative variables... Not saying I don't want him here but if he's gone so be it
Richmond is the RT we don't have and complements Tunsil PERFECTLY... frick Butch, frick their rock, frick the T, frick orange, frick fricking Neyland, frick Peyton, frick their grass, frick squirrels, frick TENNESSEE
I am currently debating TN fans who claim that we are an inferior program. They, however, can't debate that recent results convey just the opposite. They are stuck in past success with nothing to show for the present
We are an inferior program dude. They have a national title and conference title within the last 20 years. Plus they have better facilities.
That's not even debatable dude.
Sure we've had more success the last few years but overall they're the better program. Not even close. If you want to have that argument, have it with Arkansas fans. That's the program we're most compatible with.
.Anyone think Van is gonna flip to Michigan?

No doubt...
Ignored him the other day and I must say it's been nice to not stumble over his tired logic.. Also it appears he gets quoted less as time goes on.. Hopefully that will drop to zero and we can be done with him..
It's all good...Sounds like you don't live far from where I used to. I lived in the Halle Plantation subdivision in Collierville from 2002-2008. I would take exit 25 Collierville/Arlington off I-40 and it was about 30 minutes to my house.
