I really want to believe. But...

A) Richmond has a history of doing what could be considered some trolling

B) There have been no CBs switched to us yet

C) Ole Miss's bag man still has a few days to do his thing

D) Would be a very Tennessee thing to happen to us...for things to be looking good and then all of a sudden we end up with neither Allen nor Richmond

Well one thing is definitely clear. Its obvious that no one who is able to make CB predictions on 247 reads this board. If they did, it would be like black Friday at Wal-Mart to change their picks.

No reason to change now. Their points are already locked in. They would only gain a small amount by switching since he will sign in a few days.

To point D: this is clearly a new day in Tennessee football. I'm just now getting used to looking ahead in a positive light. The voodoo from 2001LSU is gone baby!

I'm with you volssam. Very cautiously optimistic.

Just checked Drews Twitter feed. I remember him tweeting a lot about Ole Miss in recent months too, but it seemed to change when Kyle Phillips committed. Drew made a comment about being nervous to see where Kyle Phillips ended up. We all know Kyle chose them Vols! After that tweet Drew seemed to be a bit distant on Twitter and not so direct and broadcasting Ole Miss stuff. Being a part of this elite class and seeing the Ole Miss class seemingly falling apart in the final hour gives Drew a lot to consider. Not to mention Kahlils assault on his boy Javon Patterson and what Kahlil just did to Hugh Freeze. hahah! Kahlil owns Ole Miss! GBFO!

My favorite part of all this is not taking him from Ole Miss if it does indeed happen but beating back Saban for a visit. That makes me want to find a Cuban cigar.

Actually, it's dead period starting Monday and going through NSD so Hugh won't be able to contact Drew in any way. As Drew arrives back to Memphis Sunday night, I do expect Hugh to at least call Richmond. I'm not calling him a Vol lock. You can't deny that Tennessee has made up lots of ground and it's hard to go against King Butch.

Only face to face exchanges are not allowed in the dead period. A coach can call a recruit or vice versa in this time.

If Richmond flips to us, how does that help our chances of jumping Bama in the 247 rankings? Does anyone know? I'm not sure how to calculate the team scores. I know Butch's goal surely isn't to jump to number one in the rankings, but it would be awesome!

B) The switching of CB's will come late Tuesday, imo.

D) Not under Butch Jones. When we look strong for a recruit, Butch lands the recruit. When we look like a long shot for a recruit, Butch lands the recruit.

LOL! I think KMac has it out for the whole state of Mississippi. I believe he made comments about not only not going to school there but he would never even go through the state.

More worried about the extensive Rebel Network of 'Spys' at work in Memphis (cue bag rustling noises)..

That being said, I have a good feeling about this...

The "Very Tennessee thing" I mentioned wasn't just exclusively recruiting (though in this case it would be)... I'm talking about the strange and terrible things that seem to happen to us. Bad luck...bad voodoo...snake bit....shadow man...Fulmer curse...etc
