I hope you're right. I'm trying not to get my hopes up. He could have just been playing the game. The possibility of that scares me.
It's not playing the game, when you call a coach back up that sounded like had stopped recruiting you and gauge interest level and possibility of a spot in the class. Then, take an OV the last weekend before NSD, and stop returning texts of players from the school you are committed to, as well as not contacting the coaching staff of said school. All signs point to him wanting to go elsewhere...to be specific, Knoxville, TN.

Man that was bad advice from your grandpa. Sorry to say. Don't believe ''anything'' you hear? And only half of what you see? Dude was quite the pessimist huh? Jeeze

I think it's great advice.. Just his way of saying don't just believe anything you hear. Take the time to research and find the truth. Things aren't always as they appear.
Lol. Again don't ever believe anything you hear. I would get it if he said don't believe everything. But don't ever believe anything? Thatddoesn't make sense
It's just a saying for crying out loud. It doesn't mean literally everything. If I have to break it down for you I will.
Don't believe anything you hear means don't take what you hear as truth, find out for yourself. If I say you're a dumbass, it doesn't make you one. People can for their own opinion.
