Well, also the SEC slid around their own rule to keep him eligible. I think that the actual language was something like if the player or a member of the player's family takes money or agrees to take money, then that player is ineligible. The argument used was that they couldn't prove that Cam's dad took money or agreed to take it, but could only prove that he solicited it, or some nonsense like that.

On Richmond: Who did not come with him was huge.

I am so glad the mom and uncle made the trip. Since it was family only I feel a lot batter about this.

The first line was a bit vague but another poster chimed in and said that a couple of MUS coaches always try to attend visits with Richmond but he left them behind this weekend. Maybe those were a couple of the people that Galilee said were pulling Richmond to Ole Miss.

Lmao..Bro I'm a Vol fan in Bammer Land and sport my colors a lot. But it's not something I wear 7 days a week. Some restaurants aren't Tshirt or hoodie friendly.

Just relax my friend. First things first, we have to get a team full of SEC caliber player which we are close after this class. When we have player of that caliber it always a coaching staff to gamble more. Talent allows you to cover up the occasion screw up. When the talent is not deep enough you have to be perfect to win which is why we beat USCjr 2 years ago. This year talent allowed us to come back and win. Coaching the kids to play the whole game and never give up also is part of it. This year will be so-so. 2016 we will be in the thick of it for SEC and Natty. Just bear with it brother, we are on the upswing, WE ARE CLOSE RIGHT NOW JUST YOUNG.

Off topic but...they also still had 1 timeout. You are being kind. That's the worst play call in Super Bowl history - hands down. That was a shockingly bad call.

You can't be serious. The dad was recorded and everything soliciting money for Cam and he took it. The investigation said that Cam didn't know about it so they didn't rule him ineligible. Lol!

Nearly every post of Hoptown's is *****ing or whining or calling someone out. He/she/it probably isn't a Vol fan anyway. Been on my Ignore almost as soon as he/she/it began posting. I'd recommend the same.

GBO, to digest the last 10 pages or so of this thread, staff has done all they can reasonably do, signs are favorable, and we are in hopeful shape with DR at this point ... but it just won't be known til NSD, as Ole M will not quit if they still have any "incentive cards left to play."
