Farrell said that UT was in Nashville. But Drew didn't reveal who he was signing with when responding to him either.

That's the second time in the recent weeks that Farrell has stated that UT was in Nashville. I believe that is a great indication of his knowledge about Tennessee football. I'll bet he thinks Bammer is in Birmingham.
:)

Still, it sounds like this trip did answer a lot of questions for Drew's mother.

My reading comprehension sucks? He said this morning he's committed to ole miss. I can read sir.

Go ahead trough. Tell me how I should split that statement up instead of reading it in black and white.

Because stuff like this happens:

BREAKING: A day after JUCO RB Chris Carson said he was 100% committed to #UGA, he flips his commitment to #OKST.

Black and white....pfft

I spoke to a friend who is on the coaching staff this morning. He told me Richmond and Bussey were Vols. He does not expect that to change between now and when the ink dries.

I'm going to have a "hat ceremony" for Richmond at my house Wednesday morning. Going to pick up my orange bucket hat and put it on (will leave my orange & my orange and white caps on the table) for all those that want him to have a hat ceremony. Not sure if I can get ESPN to come by to film it or not. Will not have pictures for those that wanted to see it.

some MSU fan made a post/thesis that Ole Miss has a "network" of boosters that have gotten the program to where it is today.

I threw this "theory" out on here 2 years ago or so. They have too much money and been mediocre for too long to sit by idlely. The program and boosters were/are hungry to win and will do what it takes. They hired Freeze, who is one of "them" and won't interfere with the process and who was likely involved in the process in his previous stop at OM. When you're historically average or below, punishment doesn't hurt as much.

Good post. Ole Miss has nothing to lose by cheating.

Exactly. I put less credence into the big boys cheating (Bama football and UK bball) because it's not as "necessary" and not as obvious. It's easy to dismiss and say a kid went to Bama or UK cause he wants to win a NC. When the SMU's, OM's or Memphis bball starts suddenly pulling top 5 talent from all over the country eyebrows naturally raise.

Must be a new group of money boosters? Because they haven't done anything until lately if not. I've lived here my whole life and always hear they have money but we never see it. There's no comparison to OM and the big 6 or 7 in the SEC when it comes to money and facilities, but people say they have money. Just look at their budget for recruiting too, it's always near the bottom. Why hasn't it changed their stadium, facilities, recruiting money, etc. ? They remain below the top schools every year and the same OM fans that say they have money complain about those things. Maybe a new group of people?

***Looking like my sources in Memphis are dead on with Drew Richmond. He says he is still committed to the Rebels this morning. Don't expect UT to go away, though.

***I have spoken to some sources in Memphis this morning that tell me they are confident Drew Richmond will sign with Ole Miss on Wednesday. These sources are close to the situation.

That is what David Johnson of Ole Miss 247 said in his "Rebel Rise" post today.
