vosams went to Hillsborough HS with Kyle and clearly must know him, judging by the info he has provided here. It makes sense that Richmond has told UT players, coaches and recruits that he will be signing with the Vols. I don't believe that Butch would have completely thrown in the towel on Allen if he wasn't sure he had Richmond in the fold (he at least thinks he has a better shot at Richmond than Allen which is very telling since Allen isn't currently committed to GA). I also don't think Kahlil gets cocky with his tweets if he hadn't been told directly that Richmond would sign with Tennessee. Kahlil is a smart guy and knows the backlash would be strong if he is wrong. Finally, Fortenberry has reported that Richmond was ignoring texts from Ole Miss players and recruits over the weekend. This may be the best evidence of a flip yet. He isn't going to announce a change before Wednesday because he doesn't want to deal with the inevitable harassment from Ole Miss that would follow while they still had time to change his mind. This has all the earmarks of a NSD flip and I am normally a pessimist about these things too.

Most of us would see the Drew Richmond thread and wonder what could possibly be worth bumping...we underestimated this crazy assassin recruiter that we hired for HC.

When he faxes his LOI into either UT or OM, then it becomes black and white. He either IS or ISN'T coming to Tennessee. That is as black and white as it gets.

Call it muddy, cloudy, fuzzy. Call it whatever, but I think you're splitting hairs here.

David Johnson's "sources" say that is not true (247 mod who predicts every single recruit who gets an offer or take a visit to Ole Miss to end up there). :eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol:

Rivals just posted a video on Drew. P. Fort said "This weekend I think Tennessee got some momentum, I think they're trending in the right way...it's going to be a long 48-72 hours. . . Don't expect him to talk to media he told Rivals he is just gonna go to school and send a LOI to whomever school he chooses, he's not going to have a big ceremony." Brice then goes on to say that "When he departed Knoxville today, he did so with the Vols - I think we're all told - as his front-runner." Brice also went on to say that these next 72 hrs will be "50-50 for Drew". Paul says it will go down to the wire and that he doesn't think Drew will have a decision until late Tuesday night (start of dead period) or early Wednesday morning. So basically things look good, there is a lot of trepidation given Tennessee's known history with Memphis recruits and Ole Miss' reputation in that area.

Mike Ferrell just tweeted he got a text from Richmond this morning saying "I'm committed to Ole Miss" The text was followed with but will he sign with them? He's still claiming an Ole Miss commitment.
