In his apology, Rick Russo said that it should not have been possible for those videos to have been released and he is right. At the very least, this looks unprofessional. I would bet that Austin and Brent are seriously pi$$ed right now.

They didn't steal anything? They put together a story to run for all the star recruits that might possibly sign with UT so they could be quick out of the gate announcing it. Makes it look like they are reporting on the fly, when they actually got it together days in advance.

Don't be ridiculous. Guys like Hubbs get told things that others do not. If Drew indeed committed to the staff, that's the sort of information that I expect Hubbs to hint at (as he has) because he knows. It was mentioned earlier that the person in the video is Austin Price. Same applies to him.

Rather disappointing to hear that things haven't improved in the GQ.

I was a member of VQ for almost 12 years. There seemed to be lots of great discussions in the early years of the site with contributions from quite a few insiders. Then, over time, it started to evolve into something resembling the FF, and those trusted sources seemed to dwindle.

Just seemed rather hard to find reliable info. outside of Hubbs and Co. during my last year as a subscriber. And, their updates usually find their way to this forum. So, it became harder to justify the $100 a year, though I do, at times, miss the reporters stories overall.

I have to agree with Volly on this one. I really don't get the meltdown. In no way has any "surprise" been ruined. Using your same logic, every poster on here that has been calling him to the Vols for the last few days are guilty of stealing this kid's spotlight and ruining his NSD surprise. It's a ludicrous statement.
