He will make big jump during and after the season since he WILL stay healthy and drop some Dilfer Dimes. LOL

Rivals bumped him from a 2 to 3.
Scout has him as a 3*.
ESPN and 247 has him as a 4*.

Oh yeah I forgot Rivals slapped a 2 on him since he was out JR year and they didn't evaluate him. He Wil be a 4 on Ruvals.

I'm not sold on the "Strong" hire at Texas. He won in a weak conference. His crown jewel is stomping an offensively challenged Florida team in a bowl. I'm very happy he didn't come to Tennessee and we lucked out and CBJ came here. IMHO Dormady is much better than Gentry.

The Louisville program was also build on players who could not academically qualify for SEC schools.

He was a 5.4 2*, now showing a 5.7 3*. Same as when he got bumped a couple days ago.

With so much attention focused on Texas, and how Charlie Strong's disciplinary tactics might be affecting the Longhorns recruiting class, it's easy to forget about the targets that were not touted during the Mack Brown era. But things may be changing. According to Ryan Bartow of 247Sports, 4-star Pro-Style QB Quinten Dormady - currently committed to the Tennessee Vols has been contacted by Strong and is expected to make an announcement of his intentions to commit to the Horns no later than Friday 8/8.

Saban recruiting trip note:
Saban was supposed to watch Q throw for an hour or more. Saban put Q on the far hash at 30 yd line and told him to drop back and hit a receiver standing still , out of bounds, on the far 50. Q roped the ball right into the receivers numbers. Saban said "He doesn't need to throw another pass for me".

Dormady could be limited by his lines and receivers. These lineman are not big. His receivers are struggling with any ball that doesn't hit them in the chest. We will see how good the rest of Boerne's region are. Their is no doubt he can throw a strong tight-rope spiral. I can't wait to see him in a real game running the ball.

He visited OSU and named them his leader for now. There will be some on here that will say we are not pursuing him anymore. I think CBJ is still recruiting him. Of course everything is just conjecture at this point and basically nobody knows anything. Especially here on VN. He is set to announce in October so anything could happen from now until then.

Thanks, I knew he was planning a trip but did not know he listed them as the favorites.. but he seems to have done this a few times.. oh well, with or without him we will prevail....
