I asked who all of these "insiders" are that said Lewis was a backup plan at the bottom of our recruiting board; which is ridiculous; and I got the name of one poster that gets his info from recruiting sites just like everybody else on this board. Babyavi is a good poster. He's never been a troll, and the thread you 'called him out for bumping' was the product of a joke between him and another poster. It's sad that you let a laugh between friends annoy you that much.

And NotoriousRPP is as legit as we have here. He has told us things long before that information was available on one of the pay sites. I'm sure he has missed a time or two - everybody does - but in his case, I can't remember what those times were.

Lewis is one that's interesting. Even if we land Kelly or Love, if you miss on some other guys would you bring him in for a shot at RB then if he doesn't work there move him to the defensive side of the ball. Kid has great upside even if he didn't work at RB.

I know some say he would transfer and all that BUT if you are not cutting it at a position and you can play at another, start and possibly even make it to the league.

There's a handful of others on that team who either have, or probably will have offers from us eventually.

As for Crosby, it'll be interesting to see how he progresses and grows over the next couple of years. He's got crazy speed for a guy who is around 265 but, as only a SO, who knows how much bigger he's going to get. He started to show up on people's radar after a game in which he had 6 carries, 4 for TDs, and 120 yards overall.

Ummmm...OK? I agree we need another RB, but we still have a good shot with Love. 50/50 IMO. I would say Lewis is at least third on our RB board behind Kelly and Love though.

I'll just jump in here and say maybe you should ease off the gas a little bit. There are a lot of posters in the RF that poke and kid with one another and it makes for a very enjoyable experience. If you stick around long enough you will see that. However, if it doesn't strike your fancy then you can lurk over her for your recruiting info and post in one of the many other fine forums provided by Freak and the VN Staff. (Hey Freak. :good!

I could see Florida giving him a shot at RB. With their HC and OC being former offensive coordinators at Alabama, I definitely see them trying to bring that same power run game. Lewis would fit that kind if offense very well.
