And this is why you should try following all of the threads, even those that get "bumped" as a joke. You might be able to decipher who is bringing legit info to the board...you know, actual REAL recruiting news. You might as well pay $10 a month, and be a part of VQ.

Ummmm...that isn't what OF said. He said that Lewis insists that he wants to be a RB in college--which Lewis has said...repeatedly.
This. People were saying take him and find a position when he gets here. I doubt Jaason is cool with that is all I'm saying. Just like Jennings wasn't cool with that. Both made it clear what position they want to play in college.

Can someone clarify when he is visiting? I know Kelly is set for this coming weekend, but I don't see him leaving the state of Meatchicken

The butthurt is strong with this one.

Jennings isn't a good comparison being that he knows he will get a "shot" at QB, but knows if he doesn't progress quickly he will be moved to another position of need.

Would Jaason's best comparison (in terms of recent RBs to play CFB) be James Wilder Jr.?

Wilder had great athleticism, although he was a little "stiff", and chose only to pursue schools that would allow him to play RB. It seems that Lewis follows along very similar lines. Lewis seems to be fast and bigger than Wilder, but about the same height. Wilder ended up having a decent career at FSU and eventually caught on with the Bengals it seems.

With that in mind, I think that Lewis would make a great addition to our team as the 3rd RB in this class. While he doesn't have the elite speed of Love, he can bring another dimension to this offense that would be beneficial--that of a big bruising RB. (Not that Hurd does not do this. This year has shown that Hurd can get hurt and that we don't have anyone that can adequately replace Hurd when unavailable.)

No butthurt at all. You laughed and mocked someone who has been bringing legit information to this board for 2 to 3 months now. You say that you come here for real recruiting information, yet you laugh at one of the few that have been bringing it. Thus, I said that maybe you should pay closer attention.

Absolutely, his info has been legit every time. I like to pay attention to eazyTD too. And de1 brings a nice different perspective to the process.

The Dooley says Yes.

I didn't mock anyone. I asked who all of these "insiders" are that said Lewis was a backup plan at the bottom of our recruiting board; which is ridiculous; and I got the name of one poster that gets his info from recruiting sites just like everybody else on this board. Then you decided to weigh in because you are still butthurt because I called you out for bumping threads of players that have no interest in UT because you think it's funny to annoy people who come here for legit info. :nono:
