Just getting off work, haven't been able to keep up with this thread. Sounds like we lead? What's the latest?

Redshirt him to get him to 250ish and unleash

While I would usually agree with this, it might be different for Taylor.

I could see him playing at a lighter weight and having a similar role as Striker does for OU. IIRC he's playing at around 220 and is hell on wheels.

Will be interesting to see how the staff uses him should we get him to sign here.

Stripling must has a woody right now based on how today is unfolding

No kidding. He's always been thought of as one of the best DL coaches around but I highly, highly doubt that he's ever had anything close to the type of DL talent we are going to have for the next 3 or 4 years.

Striker is one hell of a football player.

I think that's a good idea. Both KMac and Tuttle will require double teams which will leave our DE's wide open with their ears pinned back. I'd think a light more quick player would benefit greatly. Seriously though, this DL has some damn good potential.

To me it's more about developing talent than just having talent

If I remember correctly, there were a few NFL teams that wanted him as their DL coach in the past.

That's what I'm saying though. Stripling has always been one of the best at developing talent, even at smaller places (CMU, Cincy etc.)

He's got to be salivating at the thought of having this much natural talent that's about to head his way.
