Barnett shouldn't have been hard to see. He was an athletic TE on offense. Only thing to question was the competition level since he wasn't at any AA games. He was physically ahead in HS though.

I agree whole heartedly. I'm pretty sure Barnett would've been ranked much higher, potentially a 5*, had he not broken his hand and been unable to compete at his all-star game. I think he would've had the same meteoric rise Kyle Phillips had this year.

So excited to see this kid grow as a player over the next three years, maybe four. He has the ability if he trains hard and keeps his head right. Seems like he wants it bad enough.
He is just so quick and truly fast for his size. Like those clips that are 3 seconds long because he flys around the edge and blasts the QB in the mid back

DE and LB not DE and S. He can run like a S but you wouldn't want him playing that position. You want the kid getting after the QB Maggit style. Taylor after Strip and Stewart teach him the move they taught Maggit is going to be a nightmare off the edge.

no man with all the down shifting we are doing with players (CB to S, S to OLB, OLB to ILB, ILB/OLB to DE, DE to DT) we had to go back the other way. DE to safety. then maybe he starts to outgrow it and we start the process again. its so crazy its brilliant.
