'15 VA DE Darrell Taylor (UT Signee 2/4/15)

Him being an OT has no more validity than Croom being a TE. People just assume a lot of nonsense on here...without any info to substantiate it.

He is in the 250lb range, and would have to gain a lot of weight to play OT. Likely bad weight. But, at his current position, DE, he is already at the size he needs to be to compete in the SEC

This is just incorrect all around. It is nothing like Croom to TE, which is dumb. Jackson is most likely close to 270 pounds rights now and his frame will carry much more good weight, not bad weight. Now he could absolutely stay at DE and be a beast, but he will be a 285 or so pound beast at DE. His size to play OT will not be an issue if that is in fact where he ends up.

He's going to be a wicked DE. Seeing that we've got Zach Stewart and Jack Jones committed as OL...and both could easily be OT's (rather than guards)...I don't see the pressing need to convert a DE to an OT.

Plus, you have Chance Hall and we will probably do our best to flip Richmond.

Stewart is a G all the way. Jack Jones is a RT at best. Chance Hall is coming off a torn Achilles. Need to land Richmond or Sweet. We are extremely thin with competent true LTs....

And I'm not the only one calling for Jackson to make the move. Buck Fitzgerald, VQ, and 247 have all hinted at him making the switch.

Stewart is nowhwere near a OT. He is the prototype OG. Jones could possibly play RT but has more potential at OG.

I think Jackson will be our LT of the future. 40 pounds is not that much to gain on a 6'5" frame. Let him redshirt and lock him in the weight room with unlimited peanut butter. The weight Moseley put on must be a miracle according to VN.

Remember Fisher and Staley had to put on 80 pounds.

We literally go through this every time I post lol

I have a friend on the staff. He tells me things. I put them on here. If you don't want to read what I post just put me on ignore.

You guys might want to pay attention here...he's been spot on with every single post...look at his post history. Just because Jackson is saying one thing to the media, doesn't mean it's the full truth. We obviously recruited him as an OT, but he wants to play DE. Maybe we told him we would give him a chance, and now that we've landed a few higher on the board, he will only be a take as an OT.

I just hope someone will be ready to play LT at an SEC level by 2016.

If we land this kid, assuming we passed on Kyle Phillips. I actually like his film better.

This guy related to Levonta Taylor, 2016 DB from VA?

We didnt pass on Phillips, he passed on UT. From what most have mentioned it looks like hes somewhat of a package deal.

IDK that he was going to pass on UT but it looked like that was the case. He is the second biggest miss in state in this class IF we indeed miss BUT we have similar talent to replace him with. OT is the huge concern with this class if we don't flip Richmond or Sweet.

Other teams be like... "We're going to get a commit!"

Then Butch be like... Yoink!! "I'll take that!"
