Maybe what the person told you... was it just "Ricky DeBerry is 100% OSU" or was there more to it?
How do you know the person is legit, or who it was?
Did they tell you in passing?
Why do they think this?

The reason no one is praising you for your input is because you are jumping to a conclusion with no extra information than what we all have. That information does not support your conclusion.

If he had said DeBerry was 100% Vol something tells me the reactions would be very different. Just saying.

Is OH really the best example after the Jackson recruitment? If Deberry commits to OSU, you can always bump all these posts and beat your chest.

I think it would have pretty much been left alone if he has said that. People say "Vol lock" all of the time without others going into a discussion about it. Of course people are going to want to know someone's reasoning when they say a recruit is 100% going somewhere other than UT. Not necessarily because they want to argue but many just want to know the reasoning or what info they may have to make the claim (at least that's the case with me). Nothing wrong with that IMO. This is a discussion forum after all.

I'm not going to name name's. Period. That is how this works... I already said it's not from family. Kid's do not often converse or trust many adults outside of the family. I'm sure you all can put two and two together.

It's not about beating my chest. Too be honest, I hope the kid changes his mind. There is a very real chance that he does. OH shared the information that was given to him, it's not his fault that kid flipped at the last minute. Don't forget that USCw got that last visit, that matters.

This is where Im getting lost. HS coaches, college coaches, journalist, teachers, friends, trainers... could be anybody.

But you still havent told us what this person said... thats my biggest question

95% of the posters that say they have inside info are usually wrong.

Vol74. matts, OV are about the only ones I trust so far. I think im missing someone though

The difference is, I don't know a soul on UT staff. I would never claim to be an insider. I don't go out and seek information. I love UT, and follow UT recruiting. But I sit back and read VN to get my information, just like many of you. Go read any of the other threads in here, I speculate and joke around. I do not know anything about anything. Often times, my best information comes from Ron's posts from the pay sites...

heres an analogy

People dont pay for 247 for the crystal ball predictions. People pay for the articles that explain why the prediction was made. The crystal ball prediction doesnt mean anything without any supporting information

See these are the kinda posts that get you in trouble. You just said there is a very real chance he changes his mind. That basically means based on the info you received, OSU leads. Not 100% OSU.

This is why its not being taken so well. You havent had any proven info in the past and without any supporting info or story behind the prediction, its hard to buy in

What I was told- It's 100% (One hundred percent) OSU (Ohio State)

In my opinion- This is a high school kid, with just under and year before he signs. There is a very real chance he could change his mind. He has more trips, visits and phone calls. All it could take is one tiny detail to make him change his mind. Flips happen, lead changes happen.

No proven info from the past? Well yeah, I'm not an insider. I don't seek inside information. You don't have to buy in. I don't even get a cookie for being right. Not even a cookie...
