The was originally in quotes. That is why I spelled it out. I was told " It's one hundred percent ohio state". I added the it spelled out portion to show the only difference from what I said "it's 100% OSU" and what I was told.

Nothing in recruiting is ever 100% that's for sure.

That said, DeBerry's last 5 CB predictions have been to osu. If the same thing had happened with a recruit and the CBs going UTs way, it would be BOOMAPALOOZA!

No proven info in the past AND no supporting info. Like if you said

"One of my best friends knows someone in RD's close knit group. He told me that DeBerry wants to _______. Urban Meyer told him that he could _______. My friend was told that DeBerry was already recruiting for OSU and right now is 100% OSU"

Thats a little easier to take than "He is 100% OSU" and it doesnt really give away your source. I mean, would you believe me if I went in the Drew Richmond thread and said "he is 100% Memphis, but I cant tell you what I heard, who told me or why they think that". It wouldnt be taken well either

All he is saying is that's why people wanted to know why you made the claim that he was 100% OSU (bc you normally joke around and don't have any inside info). Not that he didn't believe you or anything. Or at least that's how I took it. And I think that's pretty much why we all wondered why you said it, not because people wanted to call you out or something, at least that's the case with me. Just wanted to know where you were coming from.

I understand that. It's already been put out there that this is information that I was told. IMO, it would be harder to believe if I was going around acting like an insider in every thread. The fact that I don't do that has to bare some weight.

But you didnt tell us WHAT you were told, other than 100% OSU. Thats what ive been asking for. See what I posted a few posts up.

What I have already said it the only thing I have been told that is us any real importance, or holds "facts", everything else is just speculation on their part.

Apparently this was a wide open race up until recently. In fact, apparently he was repping t-shirts and hats from multiple teams around. Then recently, everything changed. Whether it was from a recent visit, phone call, promise, who knows. But since then, it has been all OSU, all the time. Apparently he is going around saying he is going to OSU, and talking as if it is a done deal. He has even told this person that he plans on attending OSU.

The flip side to all of this, is that recruiting trips, visits and everything is still completely wide open. And apparently this kid loves the trips. I was told he gets very high on schools after he visits. (was VERY big on UT after that visit) But the deal with OSU is different.

See this is what I was looking for. Thanks. Hopefully we can get another visit in before he makes a decision. Its only been 4 days since his OSU visit. Hopefully it wears off soon.

Also I would add, if its OSU, that sucks but atleast it's not SEC and they get Gibson/DeBerry and we get Gentry/Cherry. And honestly can you even imagine Kesling with Berry Berry Cherry DeBerry on the same D.
