Another recruit where the CB predictions makes me wonder if Tennessee is really an option. I'd like to see at least 1 UT prediction.

I fully understand that it's just a guess by most folks making the predictions. Of course some of the guys guessing are much more informed than the casual everyday fan. Is it very common that a kid picks a school that has 0 CB predictions? I don't think so. Especially true with high profile guys. We'll see how it plays out.

Daniel Helm only had 1 CB to UT. It came in the day he committed.

The rumor about OSU no longer recruiting him must be true. Within the past 3 days, 3 OSU guys have changed their CB predictions

I like that he feels at home at Tennessee, it does not mean that we get him, but it gives us a fighting chance. It has to be hard to recruit at times based on our recent W-L record but we are more than holding our own with CBJ at the wheel. I don't know what CBJ and the other coaches and support staff do, but it seems like every recruit leaves Knoxville saying UTK "feels like home", "I was blown away", "it opened my eyes" and yes they are cliches, but based on the kids who are signing NLI's it must be true for some of them. The coaches must relate to the players really well. We give this coaching staff time to develop these kids and the rest of the country will be hearing " Rocky Top you'll always be home sweet home to me........" as we win our way back to another NC. The point is that its a fluid situation and CB picks always follow the latest developments they do not predict them.

IMO, we probably cut it close with this guy and even end up in his final three, but I just don't think we are going to get him in the end. I think our DT class consists of Sterling and McKenzie.

If we can take three DT's though our main focus will be on this guy and DJ Jones. Two amazing DT's. I feel like no matter how this class works out it will be our best DT class in.... Well I'm not entirely sure. But a good while for sure.

No doubt about it, this DT class is setting up to be amazing. I know the numbers likely won't allow 4 DT's in '15 but if they could close with S. Johnson, McKenzie, Settle and DJ Jones our DT issues would be a thing of the past very quickly.

The thing with that though, even though I want our DT's to be getting rotated often; I feel like having four top level DT's would just be too much.

You know what, just saying that made me feel dirty so let's go big or go home!
