I just took this pic off my tv, it would make a perfect soon pic or gif, I just happened to notice this guy peak out right wen sport center was going to commercial. Lol

I knew he certainly liked Tennessee and that they were one of his top schools. I was told that Tennessee and Clemson were likely the top two for him so just a little surprised Alabama is in front of Clemson, but knew they were strongly in the mix.

Elder, Thigpen, Azzanni, Strip, have all done a good job letting him know he is a priority.

I believe he is right on Clemson. One of our sites reported last month that there has been very little contact between Settle and the UA staff. Bone reported last night that Settle has not contacted the UA staff in some time. I think the only reason UA is even in it is because he is good friends with D Hand who is part of the 14 UA class. So UT is fighting Clemson for Settle.

Good stuff, TW. Thanks for the info.

Any word on Gentry from your side? VQ guys are saying Bama is making a strong push for him lately and that's UT's biggest competition at the moment.

That is correct we are pushing hard but chasing UT and the staff has been offering or talking to other QBs lately so I take that as concern Gentry is a long shot for us right now unless you guys grab Gibson.

I think Gentry is are top target at QB in this class but may change after camp but he seems to be one of the best in the country so I doubt if he wanted to commit to UA we would say no in favor of another QB.

Dang, it feels good to be leading for these recruits Bama are coming after. Tennessee will be back before we know it ya'll.

This makes me think that he is a silent to the Vols, and he has Alabama as his number two in order to rub it in on our rivals. At least that's what I want to think. :)

I'm so sick of Alabama

We get Settle, I run naked through the streets.

Wish there was a study that showed how often a team that led in summer prior to signing day actually signed the player

We just need to win some games this fall guys.Recruiting will take care of its self it we win 6 to 8 games. Butch got this yall.I've got to meet him and find out why these kids love him so much. Its really insane what he's doing recruiting .

It's very simple IMO. He makes himself very accessible to these kids… Not only via the lines of communication, texting, and other social media, but also he is accessible to them when they visit. Have you ever seen so many pictures of the head coach taken with recruits? I haven't. He hangs out with them, and makes them feel comfortable with him. He constantly stays in touch with them. He is not a douche like many other big-time head coaches, who feel it is beneath them to do as much as Butch does. They just delegate people to do everything for them.

Watch out fellas. I will go record and make a prediction...if we can consistently win some games over the next couple of years and then start competing for championships , Butch and this staff will go on a run on the recruiting trail similar to what Alabama has done the last few years, IMO. He is just that good at the recruiting game.

Would love to get him and Shy Tuttle! I just love the idea of having a starting interior defensive line of "Settle" and "Tuttle."

We take some dominant OL/DL recruits this class to go along with the awesome skill players we have and things will start turning around in a hurry on the field.
