Hello? Are you going to answer my question? Who in your opinion is a better offensive player in the state, period?

And since BB might not answer, who do you think is a better Offensive player? In Bham or the entire state for that matter?

Opinions are fine, but am I asking too much to get a little insight on what players you think are better rather than just claiming I'm ridiculous?

There are quite a few playmakers that play tougher competition making these same type of plays. Leeds is a solid program but they don't play against the best competition either. Kid is good but there's a rising junior at Ramsey High School that's flat out nasty. True 4.3 kid first name is Benikos. He's a flat out weapon. There are others around the city as well. I'm not trashing the kid AT ALL, but to say he's the best in the state is a bit far fetched.

:good!:

BBs analysis is good enough for me. Always has been.

Marshall is nasty BB...

Well I'm glad you could mention one at least.

4.3 speed ain't everything in of itself.

Who would you rather have, Leonard Scott or Randall Cobb?
Marshall has quickness, toughness, hands, and stamina. And watch how much faster he'll look as a senior.

Would just got an All-SEC WR.

I agree, BB. The d-back thing seems like a back up plan to me, like it is with guys like Bruce, Perry, etc from the last class. I see slot receiver written all over him. There is a mentality in every player, TM's is offense IMO. He makes quick, instinctive decisions and is quick, not overly fast at this stage.

When Butch's offense goes 4 and 5 receiver formations - you need a couple of quality slots. We will see more and more of the total offensive package now that the system is fully installed and they have the guys that can run it. TM fits well into that scenario.

Kerryon Johnson, Flowers, and Samuel are all more talented IMO. That's just this years class, there are several '16 recruits in the state of Alabama that I would put ahead of Marshall and even more '17 recruits.

Yout sleepin on em Bearcat...

You blowing him up way more than what he is. He's a great player, but not the top in this state. He's not even going to translate into an offensive player in college.

Not only will he play offense, but he will have tons of production.

I remember when everyone laughed at me about Cobb. Gerald Jones was the number one player in Oklahoma. Cobb was maybe number 17 in the state of Tennessee in their respective years.

I said Cobb was the better player then. During Cobbs freshman season. Actually after his first 3 games.

Marshall is that kind of player.

Time will prove me correct.

I know the game BC. I know the game... 😌

I don't care who the best athlete in the city is. All I know is Muschamp knows DBs and he wanted him in his secondary. Saban knows DBs and offered. Paul Johnson wanted him to run his option as QB so he is clearly athletic. Butch and Z know their WRs and think he can play there. willie M knows DBs and thinks he can play there.

So we got us a ball player

I'm sure everyone hopes you're right. Time will tell but I'm sure something from this thread will be bumped!

Thank you, my goodness you get people that come on this board that only read parts of posts. Nobody said the kid was bad. We are saying he's not the best period in the state. He's a good ball player. Glad he's a take over a few others that are currently committed.
