'16 AL ATH Tadarryl Marshall (FORMER UT commit 4/28/15)

He does not have Peter Warrick's ability to stop and go. It's good, but like I said, only 3-4 players in college have ever been that good

I'll agree to disagree, Wickman. I'm pretty high on Marshall.

Vick, Reggie Bush, CP, T. Austin?

All of those guys were good at that.

All of those guys were some of the rarest athletes in college football history (Bush and CP were two of the guys I was alluding to. Maybe Barry Sanders. About it in terms off freak vision and stop/acceleration). I'm very high on Marshall as well, wish he was a DB here

you can look at the film and tell thats no 4.8 lol

hes prob in the very low 4.5s. His ability to cut is also really good.

I would say 4.6 straight ahead speed. But his feet and ability to cut without wasted motion is so rare...

Great hands too.

I wish people would look at the film and just watch his feet and ask themselves how his own knees or ankles aren't broken.

Dude can ball.

He might be. Time will tell. Personally I want him at slot and I think they are recruiting for that. But he could be a very good Nickel or boundary corner with a high safety up top.

I just want him on the team. I love his competitive make up.

He's tough, he's got that "old-south" talent :)
don't ask me what that is lol.

it can take on a different connotation if perceived the wrong way.

But in my neighborhood , that term "old-south talent" referred to a guy that is basically a workhorse and just gets after it all game long. All practice long.

Looking at his film... that dude never slows down and just plays the entire game.

Looks like a Top 3 of Bama, AU, and Tennessee according to twitter. Those are in alphabetical order.

I know it's natural to clamor over a persons ranking and stars.

This guy is probably the best offensive player in the state of Alabama and one of the better open field runners in the south.

You can't coach his start and stop ability.
it's Peter Warrick esq...

Marshall is perfect for our offense, and any offense really.

Do not get caught up in rankings with this guy.

He's a heck of player and we need him!

He's not the best offensive player in the Birmingham region. Where'd that claim come from? I like him at DB more personally.

John Brice basically confirmed he's going to announce for Tennessee tomorrow.

The usual "Tennessee is in great position" talk.

I think this is a guy we take and figure out where he will play later (and that's not a bad thing).

We got guys like Hardman, Groves, Sylvie, and others still available at Slot and NB to factor in as well.

taking a smaller class is good and bad...it means that we can be selective, but we can't get everyone that we would like to get.
