With Kongo making it clear why it has not been sent it, this story should have never been written nor this thread started.

This is very clear.

“My dad has been away,” Kongbo told SEC Country. “He will sign it when he gets home.”

There are fax machines, scanners, FedEx overnight, courier services and lots of ways to get the father's signature "while he is away". If the article is correct, it is an issue despite all the folks on here saying it is not, especially since there were rumors that the Dad refused to sign. Somebody at UT needs to get this done and put it to bed.

Guys, Kongbo will wear #1 for the Vols on his way to a second-team ALL SEC campaign. In the SECCG he will have 3 sacks and two FF against the OM Rebels on our way to a victory.

Nothing to worry about.

Rumor is...Freeze has promised dad a "teaching job" on campus. Again..."rumor"...but if true Freeze/Ole Miss have to be investigated. (even further!) Whatever the reason...there has to be reason for concern. In today's world there's no way those papers couldn't be signed by now. "Out of town"???...use a fax machine! Something's up!

Doesn't matter, the NLI is not a requirement. His dad can refuse to sign it forever, it won't affect where he goes to school. Non-story and no reason for concern.
