I don't believe they said. Just stated "multiple". Article says the 9 under Freeze were low level infractions like bump. Where it gets interesting is Tunsil.

Mississippi's football program cited in 13 of 28 rules violations by NCAA

What's hilarious is their fans were out in force on articles like on Saturday Down South when this story first broke. They were ever so adamant that "this is nothing, it's been addressed, it was under Coach Nutt, we're fine."

Now with these new allegations, all but one or two of them remain.... strangely... quiet...

Could it be they're finally realizing what the rest of the CFB world already knew?

If the espn report is correct there is virtually nothing freeze did that will result in anything more than self imposed penalties just like we just had

Freeze looks plenty safe to me from that article

The Tunsil stuff is worth watching.

The part they already sat the kid out for?

That would certainly keep the penalties light IMO if that is what you are referring to

Was the stepfathers allegations part of his suspension last year?

"Riding around with agents in his car and accepted impermissible benefits"

The kid has been punished, but if the NCAA has uncovered some proof that OM had knowledge of the impermissible benefits related to Tunsil beforehand, and did nothing, then that would constitute the infraction for the school itself.

If an athlete receives benefits from an agent they are no longer considered an amateur athlete and thus ineligible indefinitely from NCAA participation right?

If this is true and Ole Miss knew he received these benefits, then their reinstatement of Tunsil at the end of last year could be indicative of an infraction.

Somethings changed with Tunsil situation or they (NCAA)would have never brought it back up. He was cleared by the NCAA to return last year.

Have to have new evidence.

Have to have new evidence.

Why?

The kid was punished with a suspension and it was lifted after the proper suspension was served

Seems like any other suspension where impermissible benefits were found.

It seems clear the school did so something.

Now if the NCAA rules they didn't do enough you have a point but I am assuming they worked hand and hand with the NCAA with his suspension.

Finebaum caller just said NCAA still investigating Tunsil situation.

Same caller that stated Ole Miss was about to get exposed by the NCAA about 2-3 weeks before this came out.

Could be that more damaging information has come out since Tunsil served his suspension. The bump rule violations are secondary.

So many layers to OM's "network" that unless the NCAA has a paper trail leading back to Freeze, he'll be cleared.

SN I haven't paid much attention to Kongbo situation but it makes me think back to CeCe Jefferson last yr. He committed to UF on NSD but his dad wouldn't sign the NLI. If you remember OM was involved as well. Some message board scuttlebutt was dad had taken some payments from OM boosters.

Yep, it all seems very similar
