A talented player like Byrd, you MAKE room. Even if you have to pull someone else's scholarship. College football is a business and in the SEC, you get as many talented players as you can. We're trying to win an National Championship here and Butch knows this. If Saban, Richt, Miles, can make room for other players even if it's not in a pleasant way, by George Butch can too.

He's been committed forever. Never looked around. Lots of schools may have called and inquired interest. No one coming after him makes sense to me. Why waste your time if he's solid to UT?

Why is there a numbers crunch when multiple spots are open? Isn't it possible that an uncommitted we are banking on doesn't actually sign on?

Sort of doubt anyone will need to be dropped. Of the players left on the board, we're only looking good for Warrior and Kongbo. I think Brown is Auburn bound, and Dickerson seems to be FSU (I know, neither of those makes sense). So that last 'ship is up for grabs among very few prospects. Would love to see Byrd take it.

This wild speculation about who would be dropped is ridiculous. No one even knows how many spots we have left. Credible people have said anywhere from 20-23.

If Warrior, Brown, Dickerson, Kongbo, and Byrd all want to pull the trigger, we'll be in a numbers crunch.

I'm going Warrior, Brown, Kongbo, and Dickerson, but admittedly won't have good idea on Dickerson until he announces his OV for next weekend. If he's not in Knoxville next weekend, I say Byrd as well.

You've got a lot of anger built up. Harness that anger and store it away in a nook where you can't reach it until the Florida game next year. Then unleash that hate and anger and help put Neyland back in its rightful place as the most feared stadium in the known world. or wait till Alabama.
