'16 FL CB Tyler Byrd (UT Commit 2/2/16)

Sort of doubt anyone will need to be dropped. Of the players left on the board, we're only looking good for Warrior and Kongbo. I think Brown is Auburn bound, and Dickerson seems to be FSU (I know, neither of those makes sense). So that last 'ship is up for grabs among very few prospects. Would love to see Byrd take it.

I would be shocked if we didn't take another DT. Have to land at least one high school DT.

I'm going Warrior, Brown, Kongbo, and Dickerson, but admittedly won't have good idea on Dickerson until he announces his OV for next weekend. If he's not in Knoxville next weekend, I say Byrd as well.

Agree on Dickerson/Byrd. In order of confidence I think we land the following best case.

Warrior
Kongbo
Byrd if no Dickerson visit
Brown
Dickerson
Bailey if a couple of the above are out

You've got a lot of anger built up. Harness that anger and store it away in a nook where you can't reach it until the Florida game next year. Then unleash that hate and anger and help put Neyland back in its rightful place as the most feared stadium in the known world. or wait till Alabama.

Fantastic!

He suggested he wouldn't hold Stewart's scholly?

IMO you have to give him an ultimatum; come in at X time or its gone. Stewart is unintentionally holding our numbers at ransom. If he says he's coming in the summer/fall and we hold a spot and turn away a recruit as a result, then he doesn't enroll, we're short a player and it's too late to find anyone else. I'd personally would've made that time frame the spring semester. Since that's already passed I guess its first semester of summer school, which is still probably too late to find a replacement outside of a walkon caliber player.

Oh, I agree with you. I just didn't know LWS had actually said that.

byrd plans to take an official visit to tennessee next weekend with his teammate, carlin fils-aime, who is committed to the volunteers. Following his trip to miami, byrd says his commitment to um is strong.

“i am solidly committed to miami,” byrd said. “i am going to see what tennessee has to offer and miami knows that. I pretty much like everything about miami.”

Apparently not...you don't hear of anyone coming after him. His recruitment went completely silent when he injured his knee again.

It appears that Brooks will redshirt anyway so greyshirting would make sense to me...to add room this yr if a baller wants onboard

Devante Brooks has to pay his own way if he greyshirts

He's a scholarship athlete if he redshirts.
