Kid will be a star here. Maybe the highest ceiling of anyone in this class. His body is college ready

Congrats on stealing Tyler Byrd and Latrell Williams from under our noses, they would have both been big contributors to our success. Hoping these Florida born studs can find success with their decisions. Hopeful I can see them both in the NFL one day repping their home state.

Wasn't going to say it, but since it's leaking players on team told Tyler Byrd not to come to UM,which was a big reason why he went to UT

This is from a 247 reporter David Lake:
Just wanted to address the recent tweet about Tyler Byrd. Don't want to go into details about everything, but yes a player on the current UM team spooked Byrd about sticking with Miami. On his official visit to Miami, this player put some stuff in Byrd's head that made him really think about Tennessee.

Combine that factor with having the opportunity to play with Carlin, his closest friend, at Tennessee and Byrd just felt more comfortable at UT.

But Miami players are denying it:
Sheldrick Redwine (Miami CB) tweeted shortly after "This jit lying OMG"

The 247 reporter locked the thread after people started claiming the report was BS and asking for his sources

If current players are telling commits not to go there, that's epic

TN players did it under Dooley. Players culture is key. It's what makes Butch so good at recruiting is the current team. He values their input on kids. If your a Miami player, you shouldn't feel too good. Your fans are awful and don't show up to games. You just switched to Adidas. Richt will turn it around but the fans can only blame themselves for Miami players telling a kid to go elsewhere

Yup they sure did

Byrd's buddy Fils-Ami was asked by Basilio and Sinclair about whether the rumors about Byrd being told by Miami players not to come there were true. Long (15-20 second) pause on the other end, before Basilio broke back in and told him he didn't have to answer the question.

VOL!!!! WELCOME TO the family Tyler

Loved this guys talk about commitment to special teams play in his post-commit statement.

Wow. The Miami fans are pathetic. Tyler is taking some SERIOUS heat from them, so he started to tweet back at them. One was claiming how he's a slave to us "racist folks" of Tennessee and blah blah blah. Never seen such trash
