Ed Reed, Sean Taylor RIP, Antrel Rolle, Brandon Merriweather are a few that come to mind.

Kenny Phillips also got drafted 1st round but so far hasnt met expectations.


Anyway, this argument really isn't valid because none of them really played for the current staffs.

If you want to show draft picks etc you need to look at position coaches and DC track records really.

Or maybe he is trying to create a little suspense. He certainly has never claimed to "shock the world" but all kids want their moment. Maybe he is afraid he has shown his hand and he doesn't want it to completely steal his thunder.

I think its absolutely valid to show all the guys who played at UT. Its good history and could hit home with some kids. I just think it would show more or have more weight if a DB coach came in and rattled off all the kids he coached up and put in the NFL.
