At 18 distance SHOULD be an issue. Having a future spouse should also be an issue.

Good point. I know when I was 18 I never would have let a girl factor into a major life decision. Odds of your high school sweetheart becoming your wife are probably pretty low. I have no data to support this however.

Miami boards actually read a lot like our boards.

Two main differences:

1) A lot less traffic on their boards.
2) They call us hillbillies, we call them thugs.

People get too worked up about what other boards are saying. Who really gives a s***. They are Hurricane fans who are competing against us for a recruit, of course they are going to be biased toward their side of things. They do have a big advantage over us right now too. Right now...TB is committed to UM.

I think we have a shot, otherwise he wouldn't be coming here. He wouldn't play CFA that way, but he has a GF in Florida and he has another "Bro" at UM (track I believe). Those things work against us. IMO...CBJ and Staff will need to knock it out of the park to flip him.

My fingers are crossed that that is what happens.

In my experience with the athletic department, they will either buy your plane ticket or reimburse you a certain amount per mile. One can actually make money going the driving route, since they give you more than the cost of gas.

This could explain why they seemingly left so early.

Sneaky Butch...he's convinced a top 100 out of state player to blueshirt. All Butch has to say is their in-home visit was meant for only CFA...Byrd just happened to be there.
