'16 FL CB Tyler Byrd (UT Commit 2/2/16)

There's an article on seccountry that talks about Byrd's visit. He didn't give away too much. Still think this one is a toss up

“You will have an answer soon about everything,” the 6-foot, 194-pound receiver from Naples (Fla.) High School told SEC Country on Sunday after his official visit to Tennessee.

Byrd said he enjoyed the visited but when asked if anything specifically stood out, said “Nope.”

When asked last week by SEC Country about his relationship with Fils-Aime, Byrd said, “It will affect it, but at the end of the day I have to go where it’s best for me.”

He also said he felt "really confident" about Tennessee's chances to sign Nigel Warrior and "confident" that Tennessee had a great shot to land Tyler Byrd, as well, because he thought Byrd would want to play with his "brother" Fils-aime.

Yeah but in all fairness, he didn't even know who he was, so I don't think he hung out with him that much...

If you watch the video, someone asked about Byrd... He said Byrd? I don't know anyone named Byrd. They then said Tyler Byrd. He said again" I don't know a Tyler Byrd... Then he asked someone if he was a dark skinned guy. So he may not even be talking about TB, because he obviously doesn't know him

We need a plug and play corner, and Byrd is that man. Will be the toughest loss this cycle, if it happens. I'm hopeful his family and girlfriend and a little time to reflect will win out.

Consider, this trip was always going to beat Miami's. Complete change of scenery alongside his best friend. Had to expect him to enjoy it. Fingers crossed.

The visit rating scale is not a very accurate way to predict where a recruit will end up.
We get plenty "10 out 10" that don't end up here.
