'16 FL CB Tyler Byrd (UT Commit 2/2/16)

This is where CBJ needs to get Eric Berry and Peyton to give the young man a call and let them know what being a Vol is all about.

I am fairly certain that is against the rules, and I'm pretty sure that the tweet from the Miami alumnus to Byrd is a big, fat, ncaa recruiting violation. Isn't it?

I'm about 90% sure a former player or booster or any of that contacting a recruit on their own, on behalf of the school is a recruiting violation.

I'm sure it is, but how would the NCAA even know if the school asked them to or they did it on their own unless the former player told them?

This will be the first year that we got the same talent as bama when we hit the field this coming year, before it's in i know the Florida and Oklahoma game we gave away, but this team 120 will be remembered for the no excuse team, because we don't have no excuse this year for not beating both of them it's put up or shut up.

This position is a bit skewed imo. It's a fact that we will have a team talented enough to win both of those games. We should beat UF. But to say we have no excuse for losing to a team that is the reigning NC and has been as dominant both on the field and in recruiting as UA has been is a bit riduculous. A little healthy perspective can go a long way TP.

Any other hints you want to drop about other recruits? Instead of the volnation meltdown panic.

Wish I could find a gif for she loves me.....she loves me not

I like where we sit with Warrior and Kongbo. But unless we have a current commit leave or we drop someone I think that finalizes our class. If Young is in fact done, I think we sign someone after signing day.

I wouldn't worry about what Miami radio guys say. Do you think our radio guys know anything regarding recruits decison? indont know any TN radio stations I would trust if they said something about a recruit. I'm sure they are the same.

I have a few, but I think we'll see Tyler Byrd switch his commitment from Miami to Tennessee. Former Miami interim head coach Larry Scott, who recruited Byrd to Miami, is now at Tennessee. Byrd's friend and high school teammate, Carlin Fils-Aime, is already a member of the Volunteers' 2016 class as well. Byrd is coming off a visit to Tennessee and the stars seemed aligned for a change of heart.
