'16 FL CB Tyler Byrd (UT Commit 2/2/16)

Conclusions, man. People like to jump to them.

For real man. Internet rumors that he is sticking with the "U" because of his gf turn into fact around here really quickly. smh

Can we see how this plays out before we criticize him for making the decision based off his gf? Because we don't actually know if any of that is even close to accurate.

This discussion is not irrelevant..BIG IF..one of Tyler's reasons is really his girlfriend. Most of you guys have expressed how stupid you think it would be for him to make a decision based on that. I was just showing from personal experience, that not everybody thinks like that. There is no real info coming out. So unless you want no posts in any thread on any player until some real info does come out..quit griping.

Married my high school sweetheart she was 18 I was 19 will be married 39 years this fall.

Wife was 18, but I was man-of-the-world at 21. Married the day after I graduated from basic training. Our honeymoon consisted of a slow drive to my next duty station. Broke and clueless. That was 30 years ago.

Seems pretty obvious to me that he wants to be at Tennessee.

The people he'd leave behind by coming to Knoxville is what makes the decision extremely difficult. Not to mention the constant pressure from people affiliated with Miami.

He could commit to UT and shut it down. The calls can't bother you unless you answer it and talk to them.

I'm 20, about to turn 21 in May. I've been single for 2 years now and I'm loving every minute of it. I'm getting to do things that I like to do and I get to make my own decisions without having to base it off someone else. Sure it's great to have a significant other but you don't have to have a girlfriend to make yourself happy. Maybe it's different with Byrd I don't know but this is his football career, not his girlfriend's.

I wasn't referring to your posts. Discussion is what this board is all about. What I'm saying is, people should take the information for what it is (for the most part), internet speculation, and not run with it like it's fact.

This is where CBJ needs to get Eric Berry and Peyton to give the young man a call and let them know what being a Vol is all about.

I'm about 90% sure a former player or booster or any of that contacting a recruit on their own, on behalf of the school is a recruiting violation.

A bunch of kneejerk reactions and negative thoughts on here, good grief folks. Nothing but rumors so far, nothing confirmed by any school. He might go to the U then again he might some here. No reason to wave the white flag until it's confirmed, nothing more than hearsay at this point. GBO!!!!
