'16 FL CB Tyler Byrd (UT Commit 2/2/16)

One thing I like about him announcing tonight:

You know Carlin will be with him and his father that just made the trip to Knoxville. He won't be around students and faculty that would rather see him at Miami. I like the way this is setting up.

My freakin stomach is hurting from laughing so hard. Its killin me.

Yes and understand the gist of it, LeBatard is a national host not a local guy. He and Basillio aren't even close to being in the same league...But the premise remains, why would a national guy have any info on a high school recruit? Why would he even comment? That's the part I can't comprehend. That part of my rebuttal wasn't directed at you

My guess is because he lives in Miami, is a Miami Alum and loves Miami football. Just a guess though. And apparently this was on 790 the ticket this morning in Miami he was asked how Miami will finish.

Again, if GFW and Notorious and Pfort are feeling good about it I'm going to hedge my bets with those three.

Why would you make an announcement to just recommit to the team you've been with for a year? He's a Vol.

I think byrd gone man. Somebody told me he is following random tennessee fans and heard rivals think he is flipping too.

I mean you never know but right now nobody thinks he sticks. He could suprise everybody though.

It's funny because about 30 minutes ago they were like "there's no way in hell hea going to that sh*t hole and now with a flip of a switch they're like ah damn were in trouble.

If Lebatard is in fact a Miami grad, why would we take comfort from the fact that his kid is going on his show to make his announcement? I damn sure wouldn't pick a show hosted by, say, a known bama grad and supporter to announce for Tennessee if I didn't have to--even if he's a national host. Byrd could announce in a lot of ways. It might only be a tidbit, but....
